I was in a couple weeks ago for a facial with Tonya Sterling. Let me begin what an absolute pleasure it was to have someone so knowledgeable, talented and professional. She made my experience from the time I walked I. The door till I left such an amazing experience! She is hands down by far The best in her field and will recommend her to everyone I know! Thank you Tonya I will be back to see you!
Incredibly disappointed in my experience. I fully understand that it's a student school and students are learning, but spending over 6 and half hours there for balayage seemed like a bit much. The under side of my hair is white from 4 and a half hours it had developer in it. It also ended up very blonde, despite making it very clear that my desire was for a natural look. I only wanted a couple of inches cut off, with long layers. But my stylist struggled with creating long layers and making an even cut, so I left with my hair significantly shorter than what I intended after the several "fixes" that had to happen. Crave has lost it's sense of professionalism with stylist. So many stylist and students wore slides where their toes hung out the front. Also, while I was in my chair, another stylist lost control of her sprayer at the sink. I ended up drenched, but it wasn't until after she dried the floor and stylist cart that she offered me a towel. I unfortunately will not recommend Crave to anyone anymore. I would expect these things to happen at a student salon, but so many things happened in one experience there, which is why it made it a bit much.
I got a facial from Jenna who was very knowledgeable in what to do when working with someone with diabetes. I got a hair cut and style with Nakia and she did wonderful as well! She did great with getting the length I wanted and adding curtain bangs. Thank you!
My daughter has been wanting her haircut for a month now and with Christmas, I really did not want to spend a whole lot. Called around to a few schools and got put on hold for several mins so I hung up. Called Crave, I didn’t have to hold, and they were able to get my daughter in the very next day, after I got off work. We got there 5 mins late because of Kellogg traffic and they were very understanding. Only had to sit and wait for a min or 2. Her name was called and we got paired up with Jaycee. She was very friendly and super sweet. She asked my daughter about how short she wanted to go and the teacher also came over to help and show pictures on her phone. My daughter was able to find a pic she liked, the teacher told Jaycee how to do the cut and she did AMAZING. My daughter and I were very pleased with the results. We will be using her in the future if she is still there when we come back! Thank you again Jaycee!! You are one of the sweetest girls I have ever met! You’re going to do great things in life after you graduate and start your cosmetology career.
I like this place I like the girls that work there the young ladies they're very kind courteous compassionate and understanding and the instructors are right there giving them support and that a girl and you can do it I like that I know it's a school but I like it when the instructors are going that a girl you can do it giving them uplifting encouragement that makes me feel good as a customer plus they do good work
You get wonderful service from everyone. I very impressed,I don't know if any salon where you can get you hair colored and a hair cut and be there several hrs.All the work is supervised and the ask if your satisfied if not they will make it right. They have a large supply of fresh shampoos conditioners hairspray you get a manicure you get pedicure you get all kinds of facial treatments you get a full body on or just your face this is the all together best place to go to get the best service the supplies are fresh and guaranteed to be away you never know when you get stuff grocery stores and discount places with shampoo that's already been expired I've been sitting in their shelf for years prices here are two are real good,it doesn't cost you $50 for a haircut.
Jasmin colored and cut my hair. She did a great job ! All stylist commented on her work. Her lead stylist were also very impressed. She has a great attitude very professional & very easy to talk to threw out entire appointment. 5 stars definitely.
Today I got a spray tan from Rhee. She is the best and made me feel so comfortable even though it was my first time. Not to mention my spray tan itself looks amazing. I had a great experience thanks to Rhee!
I had a great experience at Crave Academy with Lexi. She did a fantastic job cutting my hair and I enjoyed our conversation. Katie, one of the instructor was also very knowledgeable and friendly. I will for sure be coming back!
My student was AMAZING. I can’t give the student enough props for her professionalism in an environment that she is set up to fail in. My student’s teachers not so much, they have rules that only apply to guest like no outside food or drinks due to covid. However there students can have outside food or drinks and have them in the breakroom. Rules should apply to everyone not just to the clientele. You’re in a customer service business have EXTREMELY poor customer service. I was told they had water to drink, but the vending machines were not even working. If I had not of had a water bottle with me then I would have been just as miserable. I would not recommend to friends or family. The staff had absolutely no sympathy for my frustration. The only reason staff can have outside food or drinks is because they will have them in the “break room” I was two students eating at their nail desks and I saw another student bring her drink back from lunch. All of that violated there protocol but they still felt the need to enforce it on clients. You can't expose them to covid but they can expose you? How does that make sense at all?
