I went to Creative for hair color and highlights, My stylist was Stephen. Right from the start I learned that he is very experienced and knowledgeable in hair care, and hair coloring. Stephen is a creative professional and I might add - a great sense of humor I enjoyed my visit , but most importantly my hair turned out amazing!! I have been using this salon since I moved into the neighborhood 10 years ago! They are wonderful, everything is clean and professional. The entire staff is kin and accommodating. My hairdresser Senada B. is the best! She listens to your needs and always gives you what you ask for and takes her time with you. she will go above and beyond to ensure that the outcome of your hair is the best. HIGHLIGHTS --- I want to add to "Hairstyling" and "Haircut"' as another EXCELLENT service, but I am specifically referring to Sanela, who, in my opinion, is a MASTER hair stylist. I have been going to Sanela for about twenty years now. I have moved to different locations, but I find a way to get to Brooklyn because there is no one else on the East Coast who can do my hair like Sanela. He really works with you to achieve the hairstyle that is right for you. Just called to make an appointment for a cut and blow as I have been here many times before, Pre-pandemic. Today the Governors mask mandate was lifted so I decided to go to my favorite salon. I asked if the masks are still being enforced and they said yes so I chose to not make an appointment. I find it really terrible that this salon does not respect or honor thier customers personal choice despite mandates being lifted. So sad but I will not support a business who does not support me. Shame on you Creative hair spa! You lost a long time customer today!

I had an appointment with Steven who did an amazing coloring on my natural hair. Finding a stylist that understands natural hair has been difficult to find for me. Steven's consult was excellent. He checked the condition of my hair and selected the right color combination to compliment my hairstyle and skin tone.
