being over 60 years old I have had my share of dental work and dentist. But I must say that Dr. Ruggiero and his entire staff are excellent in what they do. From the receptionist, Hygeinist, dentist. I have seen Meghan and Dr Nick now and both are very personable and professional. I have never been to a dentist and actually had a conversation and discussed a plan for a healthy mouth, teeth and gums. I would like to thank the entire staff for really caring about their patients overall health and their personal goals for a better healthier smile. I actually look forward to my visits just knowing that Dr Nick has a plan that works with what I want to accomplish. Thanks again to the entire staff for what you do everyday.

Awesome staff. So friendly and professional. Every appointment, they have gotten me in before my appointment time, and made me feel comfortable as comfortable as you can be at a dentist office and welcome. They really take the time to make sure that the treatment is in the best interest of the customer and that the health of your mouth and teeth is top priority.

Dr. Ruggiero has made my lifelong dream of having a smile that I can show the world come true. After having so many painful, horrible experiences in my past, I can assure you the experience that Dr. Ruggiero has given me is a belief that their are those that actually care and are so extremely professional & knowledgeable. He & his staff are kind, thoughtful & caring. Dr. Ruggiero always kept me informed of the plan for giving me a smile that I can now share with the world. He would ask what & if I had other plans than what he had planned. He listened to me & worked with me & understood what I was looking for. I am never any good at writing reviews, but I needed to give recognition where it was due. I was terribly anxious and embarrassed about going to a dentist after years of ignoring my teeth and gums. The time had come that I had to do something and put aside my fear and embarrassment. I had seen 2 other local DMD’s and an oral surgeon prior to being recommended to Cresent Prosthodontics. The others wanted to pull all of my teeth and put implants or dentures in! I knew my mouth was in terrible shape, but I also knew that I had some ok teeth to work with! After meeting with Dr Ruggiero his plan was quite different than previous doctors., he also saw the importance of keeping as many of my teeth as possible. He sat with me and came up with a treatment plan which started with deep cleanings and the “how to’s for proper dental hygiene with Megan, who is amazing, to get my gums healthy again, and then we began the cosmetic restoration. We completed the uppers a month ago and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! I love to smile now! No more partial smiles to hide my teeth! Yesterday we began on the lowers, we did have to pull a few teethwhich he did in seconds. Not sure why I ever doubted him when he said it would be quick and easy! I will heal for a few weeks with a temporary crown and bridge and will be back for permanent, beautiful teeth just like the upper teeth! Your team is absolutely amazing, Jamie is always there to answer any questions I have and always reassures me that I am in good hands! Paula is a dream, she is fast and efficient and always makes sure I am comfortable during the procedures. Love the weighted blanket All I can say is the staff is genuinely caring and professional but not stuffy and it all starts with Dr. Ruggerio! Great job team, and I look forward to my next appointment! Keep the warm blankets and the pucker protector coming! Til next time!

Horrible. Staff does not know what they are doing and Dr. Ruggerio is not compassionate to clients. If you have money to give go to any other dentist. Burn it for warmth it's getting pretty cold anyway. It would be a waste here.

Dr. Ruggiero and his assistant Paula have done an outstanding job on my smile. He is an excellent Prostedontist and a very nice and considerate person. His staff are so friendly and helpful. The office is a comfortable setting with music and a relaxing atmosphere. I could not be happier with my new smile. Kind, caring, compassionate, very professional, awesome office. Dr. Ruggiero is the best choice for anyone needing extractions and implants placed. If a total smile make over.is what you need....he can do it too. Go see him. Look at his before and after photos. See for yourself! I had an implant placed today. Injections were totally pain free. Procedure went smoothly. I even felt good enough after my dental surgery was complete, that I drove out to Sam's Club for a little shopping. Then I was able to take a 5 mile walk on the Three Rivers Greenway with my husband this evening. Great experience. Thank you Dr. Ruggiero

If you have ever had a bad experience with a dentist, then you should visit Dr. Ruggiero to help you out. He is a wonderful prosthodontist. 1. His demeanor is warm, friendly, and reassuring. After I had a failed attempt to have a lower denture fitted for 1.5 years at another dentist, I had a lot of anxiety about treatment. He was willing to talk me through the process. During the consultation, he sat down with literature and told me exactly what my options were. He made me feel like I was an important part of my own health care decisions. 2. His staff is welcoming and accommodating. One of the reasons why I have had bad experiences with dentists is because I am a person with a disability. It is difficult for me to remain in the the dentist's chair for both x-rays and treatment without being in pain. Dr. Ruggiero accommodated my needs by making sure the equipment met my needs instead of making me conform to the equipment. He is also willing to fit you into his calendar for emergencies or fixes. 3. As for the actual treatment, he fitted me with an upper denture that both fit well and also looks very close to my previous teeth. He is both confident in his abilities as well as a true professional. 4. His office is spotless and centrally located. I think this is always a good sign of a great health care provider. He is a genuinely nice person. You don't find many of them. He never belittled me for the condition of my teeth like other dentists. Instead, he always was positive in trying to find the right treatment plan for me.

First off, let me begin by saying I rarely write reviews -- but after my experience with Dr. Ruggerio, I felt I had to as he has changed my outlook on dentists all together and literally changed my smile! Dr. R is the BEST dentist in Columbia. -- not just for people who are VERY frustrated with getting poor dental work done like myself, but also because he is a grade A+ professional at his craft. I went into his office and was greeted by the very friendly staff and felt comfortable through the entire process. He knew I had been struggling with improper providers in the past, and had his work cut out for him, so he talked me through the whole thing and made me laugh quite a bit to lighten the mood.. I originally planned to just get my partial restored and just ignore all the other dental work that needed to be done, but because I had such an excellent experience with him I am a lifelong patient! I get so many compliments on my smile now and my confidence is through the roof, Thanks Dr. R! Cant wait for my next appointment!

Dr. Ruggiero is incredibly passionate about his work and you can relax and know you're in excellent hands as he thoughtfully explains things and offers the science to support. He is very calming and great at relieving anxiety. The staff is outstanding and the office is state of the art. I recommend to everyone!
