This place was absolutely amazing! The margaritas were delicious. The tacos and garlic asparagus, coucous were unbelievable! This may have been a once in a lifetime experience due to passing through but highly recommended! Would hands down return if the opportunity arises!Food: 5/5
Late, weekday lunch for two, after spending morning at local tourist attraction. No dessert or alcohol. Service staff were friendly and helpful. We both had menu Jambalaya; it was very good! Coffee both with and without was quickly available and very tasty. Parking was available, but very tight and few spots available. I would definitely return if we are in area again to go to the same attraction.
Overall the experience was pretty good. Food was excellent. However when I tried to use my birthday coupon, I was told that I can't use it with any other specials, so basically you CAN use it on a Saturday. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time...And I hadn't had this happen with anyone elses coupons. We also were charged $2.75 for a side of jalapenos!?!. My wine was $8 on the menu, but was charged $11, and then happy hour discount was added. I made it known, but I'm not gonna get stressed out over $15 but I will give a four star review.
Always a good time at Cromwell’s! My favorite dish is the huaraches with the salsa de arbol very spicy and flavorful. It has a cozy feel perfect for any special occasion.
Only stopped in for a drink, but the bartender was warm and engaging. The drink was made perfectly. Will definitely try again on a night I am hungry.Service: 5/5
Ridiculously expensive. Imagine paying $16.75 for an iceberg lettuce wedge salad the size of your fist and $9.00 for a cup of soup. If you have money to burn, this is the place for you. Service was friendly, but this place isn't what it once was. Sad. We will not be back, ever, not even if you bring back popcorn.Food: 2/5
Cromwell's is an interesting place. It's a Mexican Taqueria that resides it what looks like it should be a 19th century English Pub. The drinks vary depending on what you get. I had the house Old Fashioned which was average, but I also had the spiced pear mule which was excellent. The service is great. Even though it doesn't quite make 5 stars, it is an interesting place and worth a visit.
We frequently go to Cromwell’s. The food and service is great. We even have come back after prices went up due to inflation and the pandemic. I may be rethinking this in future because after $16.95 for a cheesesteak and fries we were charged $.50 each for a dollop of mayo. I am blown away by this.Food: 3/5
Hands down the best Mexican food ! The fajitas, enchiladas‘s , guacamole and Burritos are amazing ! The bartenders go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. We highly recommend Cromwells as we have been coming here for over 25 years ! Their strawberry shortcake is a must have ! Parking: Clean safe well lite parking lot
965th different cheesesteak in the last four years. Guest Eater Amigo Dan. It was a good’ish restaurant cheesesteak but I was expecting a lot better from Cromwell’s and Greenville, DE. Dupont heirs live in the neighborhood. Good more dinner roll than a traditional roll. The meat was decent but dry in spots. It needed more cheese. They didn’t kill you with a price of $12.95 especially in Greenville. It does come with good french fries. I guess they were understaffed with only 2 people serving.
