CrossFit Tradewinds is a health and wellness facility located in Winthrop, MA. We offer personal training, small group classes in CrossFit, nutrition coaching, and other customized specialty fitness programs. We will also be launching a kids fitness program (Fall 2017).
All of our programs and services are designed for all level and abilities. Individuals do not need to be "in-shape" to start one of our programs. You just need to show up.
Our 1-hour long, instructor led classes, are constantly varied every day and designed to incorporate the 10 domains of fitness:
1. cardiovascular/respiratory endurance
2. stamina
3. strength
4. flexibility
5. power
6. speed
7. agility
8. balance
9. coordination
10. accuracy
Most of the workouts are designed to be done at high intensity to achieve the best long term results in a shorter period of time. Our coaches walk our athletes through each workout and ensure that everyone is doing each movement with proper technique and form, and to motivate our athletes to push themselves as hard as they can.
Additionally, we offer an Elements Program for individuals who are new to CrossFit. This program consists on 4 1-hour private/semi-private classes scheduled on your time with an instructor to learn all of most most important and technical fundamental movements that are used in our group classes. During these sessions your instructor will introduce you to new movements, teach you the proper form and technique to perform each movement safe and efficiently, and how to scale each movement to your current ability.
