The smoked wings are incredible, especially during happy hour (only 5$). The rest of the food is really good too. They offer take out and catering, as well as a truck they can drive around and cook food directly at events. Prices are pretty good overall and the portions are definitely enough for two meals if you're only looking for a light meal. I often have left overs. Staff are friendly and helpful.

UPDATE: Branded '72 now has new ownership. They still serve the same food but have done away with the famous "Rockville Red" BBQ Sauce and they took down the wall between the bar section and the general eating seating area. With the wall removed the EXTREMELY LOUD noise coming from the bar area makes having any sort of normal conversation while eating almost impossible(unless you bring a bull horn). I and my family are very sorry to see a wonderful BBQ restaurant that we have patronized for over 35 years go down hill. We will be taking our BBQ appetites to Red Hot and Blue 16811 Crabbs Branch Way Gaithersburg, MD 20855 RHB has very good BBQ and allows you the ability to eat your food and converse without yelling over loud bar banter.

Food was excellent periods barbecue ribs for meaty and moist got the taxes kind. Wait staff very attentive with a manager that was friendly and helpful. Had a salsa lesson at 7:30 and dancing at 8 DJ started at 8:30. Danced some Bachata and some salsa. Plenty of parking and easy to find right off Gude Drive in Rockville. Name is changed to Crossroads BBQ.

This location has had a bbq restaurant for over 35 years wth at least three different owners. The latest owner has some very good pulled pork. Also the potato salad and baked beans were fine

Saturday night after 930 I went to see my friend's new band. Could not get table service so I went to the bar. I ordered hot tea and peach cobbler. The tea water arrived tepid after a 10-minite wait. I had to find someone to, graciously, reheat the water. Then, 20 minutes later the bar tender came by to see if I liked the cobbler, but it had not been delivered yet. The cobbler was super sweet and super mushy. Don't waste your time or money here until they work the bugs out of their unfortunate non-system. The staff are very pleasant, but ineffective.
