It was so nice having tea here. We rented a small room with full tea service for four and enjoyed getting all dressed up. The vibe was fancy, but calm. The owner? was so nice she even created a custom blend for my daughter, who asked for milk tea with strawberry. All of the teas and food were delectable! We will definitely be coming back. Dietary restrictions: I spoke with them about allergies and they said they are completely peanut free, mostly nut free, and have experience making their food celiac-friendly, when needed, with no cross contamination.
My daughter and I love Jane Austen’s novels and always wanted to share a High Tea. I lived in London where I discovered Cream Tea, so our anticipation was high as we dressed up to experience Crowning Glory. We were greeted like esteemed guests, and were captivated by the genteel beauty of the decor, the well-dressed ladies, and the soothing chamber music. I chose a wide brimmed hat to add to my ensemble, we each chose a teacup, and we were escorted to the lovely St Cecilia room, where we drew a curtain and enjoyed complete privacy. Our unobtrusive waiter took our tea orders and we were delighted by the prompt delivery of our enchanting three tiered food assortment and fragrant teas. The sandwiches were delicious and the Cream Tea just rich as what I had in London. We had difficulty finding room for the delightful pastries, but fueled by another cup of tea, we pressed on, leaving the delightful rosebud-topped brownies for last. It was a delight to the senses, a delicious meal and a unique experience which we will cherish. I look forward to bringing my other two daughters to join us for another unique, exquisitely feminine occasion. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free sandwiches and treats are available.
This was a truly magical experience for me and my wife - we felt so welcome, cared for, and seen to! I can’t wait to come back with our daughter. I saw many kids come for tea and I just thought that was so cool, the layout and environment is welcoming to people of all ages… and it’s not intimidating at all - if it’s your first time having tea or your hundredth, this is the place to go. Thank you and God bless! See ya soon.
What a wonderful experience me and my mother had on my birthday. Reminded me of being a little girl having tea parties with my stuffed animals except now in real life lol. Wonderful tea and goodies, excellent service, ambience, and overall experience! I will be going again with my friends! The sugared grapes were amazing!Food: 5/5
We absolutely love the Crowning Glory Tea Room! It's such a unique experience unlike others in the valley. My daughters loved getting to pick their own unique tea pot/cup set to use. The food is always tasty and the teas are all very good as well.Food: 5/5
We had a reservation for a Saturday morning in May of 2022. Overall it was a pleasant experience, but there were some things that could have been better. With it being our first visit, we were expecting to get some more information about all of the elements included in the experience. Upon entering, we were immediately shown to our table, though it seemed like other parties were told there was themed hats available to wear. Then, when our food tray did come out, we weren't told what the items were until that same server came back and explained them a good 5 minutes later. It seemed like a lot of bigger groups had better service and attention. And even though there was unlimited tea included, we had to try to get one of the several wait staff over for a refill a few times. The teas and finger foods were yummy. Some of the desserts seemed store bought and then some sandwiches were fairly plain - all still tasty however. Overall, we went for the ambiance, but expected there could be better food options. Luckily, there was plenty to fill up on for the price and a fairly wide selection of tea. Also, the gift shop has some questionable merchandise which detracted from the theme. Ideally, I'd prefer to be immersed into an English afternoon tea experience free from political and religious messaging.
What a beautiful hidden gem this place is. I reserved a table for 7 ladies for my mom's 90th Birthday Tea Party recently. We all absolutely loved this adorable and exquisite tea room. We were in awe fun the moment we walked in. Maria greeted us and made us feel comfortable and had us pick out our own gorgeous little tea cup and tea pot. Then she sat us all and explained everything, including the different tea flavors we could have and explained what we were served for our lunch. There were several different finger sandwiches, and other delictable scrumptious items including English scones with jelly and cream. Oh and we certainly can't forget the delectable deserts, wow, sooo yummy! To make the special event even more fun, we all wore tea dresses and tea hats. They did have extra hats for people to wear if they wanted as well. My mom opened her presents and had such a wonderful time. Sherry the owner was there and wished my mom a Happy Birthday. We all told her what a beautiful place she had and that we were having a wonderful time. As we were about to leave, Maria presented my mom with a pretty broach pin in the shape of a gold crown. My mom was so surprised and loved the gift. She had a few tears in her eyes and told me that she felt so loved and happy! Thank you Sherry, Maria and staff for making my mom's 90th Birthday such a wonderful event. We will definitely be back soon!!
This is such a cute place! Love all of the Saint aesthetic rooms and the staff and owner are so sweet! Love the tea selections and I loved that we got to pick out our own tea hats and/or fasteners at the beginning. Will be coming back with more people very soon! Food: 4/5
Once you walk through the door, you are transported to an adorable shabby chic little tea spot. You check in then choose a fascinator and a tea pot. Lots of variety to pick from. We were escorted to a private little room and began tea. We were able to try all the teas that you want, no limit. The food is a preset menu. My 2 girlfriends and I spent 4 hours enjoying sipping tea, noshing and catching up. The staff was so friendly and generous. Everything we had was delicious.
So im wondering in the facebook website, it says that crowning glory tea room is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday however in the Google page of Crowning Glory Tea room it says it is only open on Saturdays. Can anyone answer my question that which one is correct and what time it opens?
