Tip - Tuesday through Thursday, it is Happy Hour from 5pm to Close! We went early for drinks before dinner and while the bartender seemed like he could have used some help, we weren’t in a rush. The drinks were good and the grana spread was simple and delicious.
Love the bar! Food is great!! Ask for the Penicillin... not many bartenders can get it right but the ones here can! The bartenders are great guys and have a vast knowledge of unique drinks. Ask about the Paranubes...
Great cocktails. Excellent bar area. Food was lacking. The basics were missing, gnocchi was over cooked. Filet was covered in sauces and smoked so it tasted like brisket. If they had just removed the extras, and focused on the basics I think things would be way better. Won’t be eating here again but loved the drinks.
The food is good, but very expensive, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. My wife and I went to Crudo for some food and wine. After a couple of odeurs and a bottle of wine, we weren't hungry anymore. So, I told the waitress that we were not going to order anymore. The "sweet" waitress changed her attitude immediately and literally filled our wine glasses as if saying, "well if you are not going to consume more, get out." We still had quite a bit of wine left in the bottle. It was very rude.
This place is delicious! I went with my cousins for the happy hour- the cocktail offering is amazing and their small plates are creative and tasty! We had a couple of happy hour bites and ordered from the menu which changes every week! Their crudo was probably my favorite I had the yellowtail looking for a classy and different happy hour? This is your place.
This place is a hidden gem. It has an old speak easy bar feel. The bartenders take time and craft each cocktail to perfection. They cocktail menu is just as impressive as their food menu. Come to this place and take a food risk. Everything is a explosion of creativity in your mouth. The pig ears are a must!
Having been to Crudo once before, my husband and I were certain of two things: i. at best the food is mediocre, and at worst it is pretentious dreck and ii. the cocktails are superb. They are so tasty that we returned to the restaurant a few months after our initial visit for a drink before heading off to dinner elsewhere. The hostess informed us that the bar was closed because of a private party, though she assured us that we could have cocktails in the main dining room. Though the atmosphere isn't at all lively or fun, we agreed, only to be sternly told that happy hour prices do not apply in the dining room. For a split second, I thought it was a bad joke. Had we chosen to sit in the dining room, we certainly would have understood the policy. As it is, this policy is, like the restaurant and its staff, tacky. Happily, one thing Phoenix has a good number of is fantastic cocktail bars. We won't be back to Crudo.
I came here with friends who live in the Phoenix area and I love this place. We sat at the bar since we could not get a table and I was glad that we did. The service was quick, and the drinks they make at the bar are fantastic. Also the food here was great, I had the try 4 from their menu where you can pick 4 items from their menu at a fixed price; the pork shoulder was the best main course I have had at a restaurant in the Phoenix area. Also if you are just getting an appetizer their crispy pig ears are awesome, perfectly crispy and in an Asian type sauce that is like vinegar with oil and some Asian spices. Definitely 5 star, and comparable to some of the best places I have eaten in San Diego.
Cool place, great food. Go for the brisket, I loved every bite of it. On the other hand the drinks were kind of expensive, but if you don't drink you are good to go. Pick 4 for $44, and get three orders of brisket then an order of gnocchi or cavatelli and you will be one happy camper just don't get too hammered and have like a $300 like I did.
If you enjoyed Crudo you will love the new menu just as much. The chef will delight you with Northern Italian cuisine. As always the service is top notch and the cocktails are superb. If you're looking for a great meal and experience go no further and make a reservation soon.
