It is a shadow of its former self. Fish market is gone, food court has only few active stall left. Several tropical fruit stands are only the high points
A mini food court of authentic Filipino, Chinese, Korean, n Vietnamese foods. Outside a array of kiosk shops selling a variety of clothes, accessories along with souvenirs of the Chinese cultures. Outside and indoor seating. Restroom is a hassle to get the key for and is on the second floor. Handicap accessible but a tight squeeze at some points. Except a lot of people all the time since it's a regular gathering place for the local asian community. You also can find a lot of exotic culturally influenced produce. Enjoy ur visit. Ps. Parking can be a challenge. I suggest getting there via the bus or taxi. Biki bikes are also a good solution
Fruits and vegetables locally sourced. Great prices and you wouldn't believe the sizes and quality of the items. You can't go wrong.
I heard this place had good food. The rice noodles were good. I wish I would have ordered walnut shrimp. The cleanliness was a little questionable.
Lots of tourist and locals go shop there. Mostly mom and pop stores. The shops have simliar foods and produces selections. Look at other shops before paying for your greens and vegetables.
This place was not what expected at all. It advertises fresh fruits which were no where to be found and the little I found did not look appetizing at all. The dining are seems to be way below average cleanliness standards… Other stores seemed ok although I did not enter them.
What impresses me most is the free worship of Budda Guanying inside Maunakea Marketplace. Scents are freely provided with an available lighter, which well displays the philanthropism of Buddhism.
Just ok. Great for my parents who miss having be able to get shopping done in a bunch of small stores. Typical and limited stores. Most close by 430pm
Been here many times. I usually get the Lemon Grass Chicken Bahn Mi from one stall and the Roast Duck from the stall across from it. Wife didn't care for the long grain rice that came with the duck which was included in the $12 plate. She said the duck is perfectly seasoned but wishes she got more meat. I should just get her half a duck next time. The bahn mi I ordered has tons of flavor and was $9. Next time we really need to try the dim sum next to those two stalls. Market has so much potential but seems like there has been some gradual hollowing out every time I visit. I also enjoy shopping for the tropical fruits in this and surrounding markets. Got some delicious guavas today.
There was a nice variety of Asian foods. I got a one choice combo at one of the Pinoy vendors that hit the spot. ~$5 to be nice and full! I definitely want to go back at a better time. I had gone right before closing. There’s also little shops for household items.
