CT Quilt Works

As a self-proclaimed craft-inept, eager to learn newbie, I found the knowledge at CT Quilt Works to be in no short supply. Everyone I have spoken with has been exceedingly knowledgeable and patient and happy to share their love of quilting with even the most hopeless student (me). It’s easy to get lost in this little store that has so many fabulous fabric choices and the cutest (and most useful) notions around. I’ve always left with a smile on my face and a new “piece” of quilting know-how. Can not recommend this place highly enough!

I need to call out this L Wyzykowski. How dare you criticize anyone from this shop! I have found this shop to be very friendly, knowledgeable and full of wonderful products. Yes it’s small but have always had an enjoyable experience. You must be a very unhappy person to try to shame someone else. Interesting rgexall to keep supporting this shop! The shop is smaller than my quilt room. It is a shoe-box. The woman working was preoccupied with sewing and cutting, and she blocked a quarter of the shop. I think only half the shop had fabric and notions, and the other half was wasted space stuffed with her own items and projects. Although we had a nice time walking through Mystic village, it was not worth a special trip there for that quilt store.

This was a very nice quilt shop where the owner has back a lot into such a small space. The fabrics are wonderful with lots of themes and choices.The owner is very nice and can provide you with a lot of helpful information. She helped us look for some fabrics to match an idea we had and had great customer service. The store really only requires one person to run because of its size. However this can cause you to need to have a little patience as there is only one cutting table and staff member. Use your time waiting to make sure that you have not missed anything.

I have learned so much from the people at this store! Not only are the classes great, they have a nice selection of fabrics. It is small but mighty!
