Good Indian food. Tasty, well prepared and quality ingredients. Service was good but a little slow as there was only 2 people working as hard as they can. They ask your preferred spice level. I like it hot my wife not. Naan, Tika, lamb, Samosas, Mango lassie all were great. There is another downtown with a buffet. NOT open for inside dinning. Take out only. People go on about it. Not that great. I liked the food here better.
*Good Indian food. Very polite and welcoming service* We stopped there during a long trip. The lamb Biryani and Vegetable platter that we ordered was good. Specially the lamb Biryani taste very ethnic with spice recommendation hot. The servers and manager were very welcoming and polite. Highly recommend this place if you are in Salem!
Never had Indian food before and it was amazing. We tried several dishes, flavorful, wonderful spices provide good heat to your level. Ordered the vegetable appetizers too, Naan, all of it yummy. Great service. Will go back. A new fav place. Sorry forgot to take more pics.
I’ve been coming to Cuisine India for years, and it’s firmly cemented itself as not only my favorite Indian restaurant in town, but also probably my favorite one period. The place has been family run for as long as I can remember, and they do a great job. The food is ridiculously good, and the prices are so fair. I’ll always miss the pre-covid lunch buffet, which was an absolute steal of a way to sample nearly every dish offered, but even without this it’s still a great value. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. It’s the shining gem of state street.
The food was decent. The service was..... ok... I actually felt like the young man that was helping me was acting like he was being put out by my presence. I ordered a salad and the tandoori sampler. I didn't taste a bite I didn't like but there was a specific lamb that was spiced well and amazing!!
Tried 3 dishes. They were all full of flavor. Just a little spicy at medium heat. It was as expected. The consistancy of the Lamb Saag was delightfully fluffy. The Chicken Marsala and Butter Chicken were excellent as well.
I ordered take out and received the wrong item. The receipt did not match the items in bag. Instead of butter chicken, I got some spicy potatoes that I didn't like. There was also an additional charge to use credit cards and mandatory tipping.
Very clean, excellent service. Fast delivery. Indian tea w/milk was tasty. Rice very good. Naan with vegetables #69 excellent. Chicken dish with vegetables #39, my main course was disappointing. The chicken texture was rubbery, like boiled vs baked and the vegetables WERE FROM A FROZEN BAG OF MIXED VEGGIES! As an organic gardener whose main diet primarily consists of fresh, organic veggies, i was very disappointed in the dish. The sauce tasted like curried stew gravy. Don't think it was cooked fresh for my dish. I would rather wait longer to eat, and be served fresh food. I will try this place again with friends who like Indian food. The prices were very reasonable. About $23 which includes the tip. The owner nor cashier said thank you, or asked me to come back soon. I looked at him to say good bye, he shifted his eyes away. Awkward.
The food tastes more like leftovers, rather than high-quality authentic food. Try Southern Spice in Hillsboro an hour north for how such dishes taste amazing.
This place is fantastic! The food is amazingly flavorful, and the service was great. This is my new Indian spot, and it should be yours as well!Food: 5/5
