I am stunned at the poor service that I have received from the Culligan water team for my home. I was eager to embark on both a whole house water filtration system in the basement as well as a reverse osmosis unit under the kitchen sink. A service contractor came today, worked for 2.5 hours on the RO unit install itself. When he was proceeding to go do the basement portion I asked him to instruct me on the function of the new unit. Well. Out of the clear link spigot came hot drinking water!!!!! When I told him this was not acceptable he told me I had a faulty faucet. It was installed by a local plumber a year ago. It worked just fine. Hot and cold streams were fine. There is a mixing problem that I’ve had throughout the home but that has never really caused an issue. Sometimes my cold water in the kitchen sink is tepid and my cold cycle on washing machine is tepid. And my hot water has been fine. No other mixing issues except the above. After the install was reversed and removed, this is my hot water stream in my kitchen sink. Not one person from the Culligan management team has followed through with me to insure repair. Be very aware!!!!!! I would not have believed this occurrence unless it took 5 hours + of my band width away from me today. I just keep getting challenged by the service manager whether this was a change from baseline. Of course it is. I didn’t live with a trickle of hot water for 3 years here prior to today’s botched visit. Cold water, hot water. A disgrace. And? The installer straight up lied and said that my hot water pressure was low when he turned on the faucet. A true misrepresentation = lie. If it had been? I would have addressed it a loooooong time ago. It should be 0 stars for the ineptitude and horrid customer service.
Service is Great! Tech that worked on my system was the same one that has worked on it for a few years now doing the yearly service so he knows my system. Michael is cordial and knows his work, a real pleasure to have as a "tool" in my box!
We regret going with this company in 2016 Whenever we call, no one answers the phone. They don't call back. When you do finally get someone, next available appt is 2 weeks away and if that 1 day does not work they say they can't see the schedule yet for the following week so you are just out of luck. The prices keep going up, went from 40 something a month to now over $70 month. We are 3 months now overdue for our annual service. They forgot to charge my credit card for 2 months and then charged large amount on month 3. This company is so unorganized and unprofessional.
We literally do not know how our local Culligan in West Warwick functions We have been using them for over 20 years for an ion exchange tank. Supposed to deliver a d exchanged monthly. They have become progressively worse over the years but the tank is our best option. They never show up on schedule due to not having drivers. When the tank is installed it is not checked for leaks before they leave. Learned my lesson the 1st time it flooded downstairs. I check every time after they leave and correct if it leaks. Now to add icing to the cake they changed payment portal and we cannot login. Called billing and contacted one person but problem not resolved. Called multiple times and drove to West Warwick location twice but no one is there and there is a sign on that no one is in the premises. On the road, looking for drivers, etc ... I just want to pay my bill and I can't even do that :
Culligan did a great installation and when I thought my PH was low. I called and they came over to check my water it was good. I ask questions and the gentleman Mike was very professional and told me all about the process. I’m totally satisfied with Culligan.
Just what we were looking for! Delicious water without buying from store and ruining the world w plastic containers! So easy and solid filter too! Professionelle staff too!!!
Horrible service. I have been attempting to schedule an appointment since August 5. No one returns calls. When someone finally answered the phone and scheduled an appointment for today 10 days later, the tech never arrived. Very frustrating!!
Christopher Harrop and Robert removed an old Culligan System and installed a new one at our home. They were both super pleasant and very efficient!!! The removal/install was done quickly and everything was left very clean and tidy!!! They reviewed the functions of the new system and explained everything perfectly. I would highly recommend them and Culligan. Thanks Christopher & Robert!!!
This company lives in another world. A world where a long time customer stops receiving a monthly delivery but is still charged. The rep who called to tell me my delivery would be a few weeks late this week. Did not believe me when I told her I didn’t receive my January delivery. I am so done with these people. I should have canceled 6 month ago. I will be contacting my credit card company to report all the charges for a service I did not receive. Fraud alert. Do not use their water delivery service. It’s a scam and their customer service is by far the worse I have ever spoken to. They would be better off just not calling customers. I probably would have continued to gift them money for a few more months.
The Culligan service man, Mike, was awesome. He contacted us before his visit to let us know when he would arrive and then came exactly when he said he would. He came to our door wearing a mask, which we greatly appreciated, as we always wear masks when in public. His sunny, cheerful demeanor brought some light into an otherwise cloudy rainy January morning. He listened carefully to our concerns about our system and gave advice which turned out to be exactly right. He replaced our filters, tested the system to ensure everything worked as it should and gave us more information on what to expect regarding costs and frequency of filter replacements for various service options. It's a pleasure to deal with a service representative who is so knowledgeable, courteous and competent. Our water now tastes even better, and the pressure from the filtration is the best it's been for quite some time.
