Nice little walking path. There was a lot of broken glass on one little section. Other than that, it was a great loop for some exercise.
Nice paths through a small patch of woods and a little pond. To me, a very welcome retreat from the urban sprawl of Houston.
This is a really creepy park me and my sister went and we park the car was locked and we were going to get some water and go for a run but there was a lot of homeless people sleeping on the grass and on creepy men came to our car and tried to get in and it's really dirty and they was also 2 MURDERES HERE GOOGLE IT anyways please don't go to this Park..
It’s a nice place to walk and exercise my issue here is that I see stray dogs being abandoned here. I rescued one recently and on top of that some people will dump their trash here. Overall is peaceful and beautiful I just hope City of Houston can keep an eye on people not abandoning animals in this park and also to keep the POND clean.
I don't know if anyone else had see a wierd incident here at night . Ik it sounds weird but a year ago I drove by here with my dad at 12 at night we both saw what looked like a woman in a wedding style dress and when we passed her its like she ran toward us and disappeared. We both saw that but never said anything. Other then that it's a good place after that night I don't go unless it day time
Childhood memories, but I would most definitely like to Houston Park people to update the children's play area. it's time for one .... Make Houston Great again. The South East Area needs an undue, too..
Perfect for the Southeast nature lover. Many people don't know how splendid this recreational park is. Features trails perfect for hiking and bike riding. Plenty of scenic Flora and Fauna to enjoy.
There is a trail you can walk. You can bring your pets. You can spend time with family here. You can feel safe bringing your children to play. There is BBQ set ups. Also they have picnic tables you can sit at.Plus it is a regular drive thru for police. They patrol the park regularly and sometimes park to watch people. So it is like everything else.Never let your guard down people. Beware of your surroundings.
We went there for lunch and couldn't seat under the pavilion because of all the homeless people. Tried sitting in the truck but was quickly approached by another homeless person wanting money. The mayor and community leaders need to do something. God forbid any kids try and play on the playground.
We call it the "Park of death". Even during broad daylight, there's a very uneasy feeling here. There have been TWO murders at this park Google it. Not kept up at all. Too many homeless camp out in the trees in the rear of the park. I do not recommend this park at any time. Negative stars if I could.
