The place was ok but it has always been overshadowed by the original Riko on 46th street. This one was definitely more spacious and the interior was well maintained compared to the other one. Service was hit or miss. Same with the food. Was not surprised to see it permanently close because it never made a lot of sense to have two identical restaurants just 2 minutes away from each other. The food was amazing as always! I love the happy hour drinks! Service and hospitality is really nice here! The portions are big, so, don’t order too many appetizers cause then you won’t have space for the main. The ceviche here is A1. And the parihuela is the best O ever had
First time there. Was greeted with a free nip of wine as soon I walked in the door, so... off to a good start! Shared the calamari appetizer and had the ceviche. Was delish! Did have to ask for hot sauce for myself and my friend but that’s just our taste. Like it hot! Had the frozen passion fruit cocktail. So good.
Please be aware this is not an authentic Colombian restaurant and trust I'm a big time lover for my Colombian peoples dish. This place is a Mexican restaurant portraying like its Colombian but it's 100% not Colombian at all if you want real Authentic Colombian food try pollo marios, El basurero, and Tierras colombianas try those places and then try this and you will see the change in look and taste and we all been to Mexican restaurants and you be the judge and post..... P.s. I'm 100% colombian and a big time meat lover and I've had all types of meats and this place had the nerve to tell me that the meat in the tin plate picture is a Churrasco with a large piece of fat that's half the size of the whole actual meat which is not at all a Churrasco.. now compare the next 3 pictures from 3 different restaurants is a real churrasco and you tell me people is this a Churrasco in the in the tin plate picture???
Great food! Great service! 100% Spanish speaking so know your language, and try the caviche it was amazing!Food: 5/5
We got there around 8:30ish almost 9, we were seated and brought some chips and sauce. Waited about 10 minutes as multiple waitresses passed by us and we had to flag one down to take out order. The food took almost half an hour to get to our table.. my boyfriend ordered chicken tenders and fries and he said they tasted as though they where cooked to long and tasted burnt. I ordered the grilled chicken with mushrooms the food was good. The atmosphere was okay but the DJ of the night would not stop talking or singing and wouldn’t Dj and let the music play. I understand doing he is doing his job but sometimes you just want to listen to the music and not have it be interrupted by talking. The waitresses looked like they didn’t want to be there. I had a prior issue with this restaurant when I ordered online through seamless and due to the fact that they didn’t update there hours of operations my food was never delivered. I decided to give this place a second shot. All in all it was an okay experience but the servers should be a bit more attentive to the customers and not have to flag someone down in order to get noticed. Would have given a 4 Star rating but the lack service and attention bright it down.
Came here for brunch and was not disappointed. The menu has plenty of options. The portions are filling and the prices are reasonable. The service is great and the food delicious. TRY THE PASSION FRUIT SANGRIA!! You'll thank me later.
Nice spot for Peruvian food in Sunnyside Queens..Pio Pio is not the only restaurant that has the best Peruvian food..this place will give them a run for their money..Food and service is great here. Come and see for yourself.
Very tasty dishes! We order a bit too much for 2 people but we were able to bring all the leftovers home for the day after. Staff is very friendly, be ready to speak and learn some spanish tho! :D
I’ve order in a couple of times, the food has been tasty but the second time I ordered it the packaging was terrible and the food leaked all over.
