I see why this place doesn't have super high reviews... It was... okay. Bread: The complimentary pretzel bread and herb butter was fantastic. I could eat that all day. The steak was good but... not great. For a $100 steak, I do expect it to be a little bit better than what I can grill at home. No offense to Wolfgang Puck, but I make a better steak. The crab friend rice was my favorite dish, apart from the pretzel roll. It was uniquely wrapped in an egg shell, and it was very very tasty!
Dinned here on February 15th with my husband. Excellent service, the food was nicely prepared and the ambiance was cozy yet bustling. We were originally guided to a table by the window but it was receiving a draft from outside so we were moved to a booth. Everything was delicious and the level of service always makes an experience so much better. We really enjoyed the roasted cauliflower, filet mignon, a fish dish cant remember the name, my fav was the macaroni and cheese. Hubby had a few glasses of wine and for dessert we had a yummy slice of blueberry cheesecake.
Great location, interior and service. The food is amazing starting from the complimentary pretzel roll and unique butter to the soft shell crab tempura, filet mignon and Amish chicken both soft and juicy bursting with flavors similarly the burger too. The chocolate soufflé is divine and highly addictive.
Absolutely loved this place! I had their Mocktails and the Cracklin Rosie was something everyone should try!!! Also had the Tempting FateFood: 5/5
I'll start with how excellent the food is at the Cut. We had dinner here the night before NYE and everything we ate was delectable, from the starter bread to the eggplant to the amish chicken. As foodies, we appreciated the quality of the food however I took a star off for the service received. The restaurant was not super crowded when we went but I expected that level of restaurant to have the same unmatched service we experience in other top-quality restaurants--not the case here on this occasion at least. Our waiter was slow, seemed truly uninterested in tending to our needs, never came back to ask how the meal was, etc. I was also really disappointed to see we were charged $7 for a side of blue cheese we asked for--we're charging for condiments on a $300 bill now?? Disappointing. We would love to return to try more of the menu because that's how truly delicious it was but something in me would take pause considering when I spend that much money on a meal for two, I want the service to reflect their appreciation for my patronage.
Amazing food, amazing service, just plain amazing! Valet parking is available at 15. 00 dollars and well worth it to avoid dealing with the areas tight streets! Valet staff was punctual and over the top friendly! We had reservations but were early, there was no problem seating us right away! We ordered truffle fries, Louisiana prawns, steak tartar, Colorado lamb chops , white & green asparagus, caramelized cauliflower, charred half Amish chicken, and the kardinal schnitte tastes like the best strawberry shortcake ever. Service was beyond exceptional and the prices were spot on for this style of dining. A small pop in bathroom is located just off the dining room and a larger restroom is downstairs. Both were well kept. Location is convenient to shops and great for an easy stroll. Give this place a shot for a tailored to you evening!

Excellent service. Steak options with some Asian flavors. I thought the food was good but not special. The crab fried rice was a bit too salty and the rock fish wasn’t particularly flavorful or flaky. Dessert was freshly baked and nice. Nice wine selections. Server was very friendly and was wearing mask and gloves the whole time. Dined here December 2020.
Four of us ordered 4 salads, one tomahawk steak 20oz steak and 20oz bone for $260ish, one half chicken for $35ish, one french fries for $22ish and large spoonful of spinach for $17sh. As much as the server pushed we did not order the 6 grams of truffles for $45. The chicken was good. The steak was a nice cut and well prepared but extremely salty. So was the spoonful of spinach too salty. Including our two glasses of wine, one cocktail and tip, we paid over $600. We asked for our leftovers but we did not get them. If the food was not too salty, I would not probably write this review. For $600 we could have done better in other establishments. Please note that all four of us thought that the food was too salty. I mentioned the saltiness to the manager and he only responded by thanking me for my feed. Also that the head waiter mixed the leftovers with refuse and did not give us any numbers for pick. The fictional justification is not true.
I’m so glad The Cut is finally re-opened for brunch. It was one of our favorite brunch places in town - and it is still as amazing as we remembered it.
