The space was nice and open. The event was a wasted use of this nice space, and did not do justice to the fine brick interior. It was nice to play all those cool video games and see Anamanaguchi live, but this venue should be used for much, much bigger events.
I have no reason to love old buildings as much as I do, and this one is pretty special. It’s definitely the kind of building you wouldn’t expect to have survived till now, and it’s also hard to see it. By which I mean, go inside to see it.
Beautiful brick venue! Open, inviting, spacious. I went for a beer + cheese fest and it was the perfect space.
Lovely circular space that functions well as a multi-purpose gathering location for all types of events, whether they be World AIDS Day vigil installations or large art gallery exhibitions. The central skylights lend themselves well to providing lots of natural light during the day, while also creating a cavernous nighttime dome perfect for resonant live music.
Great venue. Attended a gala here, and it dressed up very nicely. The lighting was poor, so pictures using cellphones won't capture tree greatness of your outfit or the splendid time had by all.
Nice venue. The shape of the space helps people mingle and there are no bad seats at an event here. Charming exposed brick walls, and artistically decorated bathrooms give it that "extra" vibe. Great place.
Great for the art show we went to.
This is a beautiful and stylish mid sized venue, in an attractive area. The layout encourages tables around the border, and would probably make a nice social dance venue. Parking can sometimes seem impossible, though, and it's at least a few block from the Back Bay T, so give yourself some time to get there. It would be really great if, given the number of family events that happen here, the venue could install a changing table. I hate to take a star off so I won't, but it would make it much more pleasant for the many parents who I see at events here and, of course, me too.
Had fun at rhe Michelle Wu event
Came here for the craft beer festival free tickets! and it was a great location for that type of event. lots of space to set up stands and also for walking around. they could have put in another 2 rows and there still would have been a good amount of room. Not sure if Cyclorama cut off the number of breweries, or if there just weren't that many who wanted to participate. The bouncer told us that there wouldn't be enough time left, because we showed up around 1:30 and the last call was at 2:10, but we tried everything, bought candy and had photos taken!
