D. A. Kinsella renovated our outdated Kitchen and 1st floor bath. During the planning phase, they provided reasonable suggestions, variations, and alterations with different price points and answered all of our questions. We took our time finding the right materials and finishes, coordinated when the work would start, and were able to avoid most of the renovation stress with our pets out of the house. When finishing up, they were prompt in responses and resolving any questions or issues we had and overall we're very happy with the final product. We finally have a usable kitchen that makes our house feel much more modern and less restricted!
I highly recommend the Kinsella Company for renovation projects! We had two bathrooms, a kitchen, and bedroom flooring and painting recently completed. If you are looking for a small company that also has a large bandwidth for meeting all your needs, the Kinsella is a great choice! We really liked dealing with a family-run organization. Communication throughout the project was excellent; Christopher contractor communicated with us daily sometimes multiple times per day when required for decision making and problem solving. Our house was built in 1933 and we loved how enthusiastic and skilled the team was with helping us keep the charm of the period while updating functionality. If issues came up, DAK was fair and always concerned with solving the problem collaboratively. We are loving our new spaces without reservation!
DA Kinsella recently completed a job for me and I could not be happier! I originally contacted Kinsella for their structural engineering and had them complete the entire job. I had to have repairs done to my building due to an accident which compromised the structure. From start to finish, Kinsella completed the job in a timely manner. Their team of contractors worked seamlessly together and did an awesome job. Their professionalism is unmatched!
Highly recommend using DA Kinsella for contracting and consulting on any home project! From the start – Julia in the office answered my initial Facebook request almost immediately. Chris Kinsella called me the next night and we chatted at length about my project and budget. Chris was able to come out to my house and assess the damage in my lower & upper bathroom within the week. This was during the busy holiday season when they had many projects already going on. Within days David and Chris were able to send out an estimate of repairs and new construction that was very affordable and within my budget. Once signed – Chris immediately began pulling all necessary permits and working with my city to move things along quickly. Steve came out two days before our demo date to wrap our home entirely to avoid mess. Roy and Jason - did all the plumbing work but also did our demo to save time and get everything done the right way. Due to living in a condo with old plumbing – there were so many things Roy had to change or re-work to get the plumbing up to code. They also picked up my shower surround from the supply company to make sure nothing was missed. Fernando did all the walls, plastering and painting. This man never stopped working! Raphael did tile work – he was so fast I only heard his voice before he was out again. Ultimately they kept in constant communication with me, were extremely respectful of myself and my husband and that I have a nosey pet and were always asking if the house was left clean. The last part of the project was when 2 cleaners came on a weekend to entirely clean both my bathrooms and stairwells from top to bottom. We couldn’t be any happier! Living in a construction zone we expected hold ups and surprises – there were none. I should also add that they came far past their normal range of practice for what is not a huge project for them. Many referrals did not even respond to my requests. I am so lucky DA Kinsella cares so much and has such high expectations of their jobs and staff.
We engaged DAK for our home expansion project, and throughout the journey, David showcased exemplary patience and professionalism. From the outset to the final design, our collaboration spanned about a year. Throughout this period, David was accommodating of our modifications and ensured that our design not only met our expectations but also adhered to city regulations. The final designs were high quality. We are genuinely pleased with the results and David's dedication to our project.
We used D. A. Kinsella to repair termite damage to our house. From the start, I was comfortable working with Chris. His team replaced a damaged section of the sill and repaired some additional framing and flooring. They also repaired a crack in our foundation that the termites used for access to the house. We were impressed with their responsiveness, work and the way they clean up the job site.
Dave took the time to really listen to all of our needs and wants. He was able to guide us through the process with his patience and the utmost professionalism. He was a pleasure to work with and his architectural design is unique and stylish, not your average cookie cutter plans.
I used d.a. Kinsella based off Facebook. I did very little research but I did do some. They responded quickly. The task wasn’t a very big job considering the other jobs that they have. From the minute they responded to me, I felt like I was their only customer in a good way they responded to all of my many questions, they stopped by my work to go over the contract and they got someone out to do the work exactly when they said they would. On today’s world, that goes a long way! The person that came to do the job was very polite, meticulous with his work and was very neat. Someone called after to see how the job went. I would definitely recommend d.a. Kinsella to anyone looking for any time of home construction or even smaller jobs around the home.
d. a. kinsella company built an oversize garage addition with a laundry room that is built stronger than my house. They pride themselves on doing the job right and keeping their customers happy. They even helped my neighbor shovel their driveway after a snowstorm. They are professional, courteous and responsive.
