Story

In the heart of lower Manhattan, Da Claudio brings a seasonal Italian menu and friendly modern aesthetic to one of the oldest streets in New York. Da Claudio embraces the changing landscape of New York City dining, offering curated fresh market driven-fare enhanced with the finest Italian imports, a beautiful bar and salumeria as well as take-out and full service dining in a modern, light and airy space.

Claudio and Linda Marini were co-owners of Barbarini Alimentari & Mercato, located on Historic Front Street in the Seaport, a successful restaurant operating since 2006 until it was completely destroyed by Super Storm Sandy.

Claudio and Linda are delighted to reunite with all their old customers and friends in the neighborhood and to befriend many more over Da Claudio’s wonderful food and wine.
