Why they have a 3.8 baffles me! Tried them 3 times now and everything is delicious. All in all, I’ve had 7 of their dishes. All are consistently great. Prefer their lamb dishes to their chicken or goat. Rich, robust flavors, fresh. Takes a bit longer for orders but I’m fine with that if it’s fresh and worth the wait. I’ve tried 6 different Indian places around and this is the only place I will go back to.
How they have a 3.8 is just ridiculous. Their food is amazing. The man that works in there and makes the food I feel from scratch is amazing just walking up to the front door You smell the spices that right there tells me the spot is gonna be on point, and it has not disappointed me. Do not sleep on this place. The place may be small but for damn sure puts out some wonderfully spiced and delicious food.
It was bad, just look at the photo. Chicken tikka were definitely re-heated. Lamb kabobs were even more terrible. Naan sucked. Green chutney was good - that’s about the only my thing
This place is awesome! The food is delicious, hot, and came out quick. The staff is friendly and the place seems clean. Get the chicken biryaniFood: 5/5
When we ordered the food it took quite a while to come out and even then it was below average. As for the customer service it was terrible as we had to approach the counter multiple times to ask any questions we had on the menu. Also when we were leaving we had asked for to go boxes and she made a huge deal and wouldn’t give us what we needed without asking multiple questions on why we needed them. The lady was really rude so since she wouldn’t give the container to us we just decided to throw out whatever hadn’t been packed and then she decided to come to our table to give us what we wanted and asked us very condescendingly why we wanted to waste their containers. All in all not an experience that was worth it would not recommend.
Group of four stopped by for Sunday lunch. Service was fast. There was a steady stream of locals picking up to go orders. I had the chicken korma which was amazing. So smooth and tasty. We also ordered Tikka masala and chicken biryani which were delicious. The naan was out of this world. We got plain naan and garlic naan, and both were equally amazing. Highly recommended. Parking: Plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant.
I love this place so much. They remembered our order after the first time we came! This place is literally the best I definitely recommend coming here. The food is the best Indian food I have ever consumed! 10/10Food: 5/5
A go to place! Open till Midnight on Friday and Saturday. If you want something late after your work on friday and dont want to cook just look for Dawat! They are open! and always has Biryani when all the other Indian restaurants have already closed. This place always have biryani unlike the other Indian restaurants. Ordered Chicken Dum Biryani, Boneless Spl Chicken biryani and Chicken Lollipops. The food was delicious especially Bonless Spl Chicken biryani and chicken lollipops appetizer. If you are in the area definitely worth trying!
Very good food, will definitely be back.Chili chicken was nice and spicy which helped my cold. Good curry selection. Hole in the wall filled with character and cheery service. Small business, ran by a little family with a kid so I feel like it is a good business to support.Food: 5/5
While the food was like home cooked, plenty of it and good if a little salty, the service was minimal, there was a sticky film covering surfaces that was disturbing. I know prices have gone up in the last year and menu prices don't always match what's charged but we paid $70+ for something that by calculating menu prices should have been $50 ish. They advertised lunch specials but nothing was on display nor was it mentioned by the counter person. We'll be trying other restaurants with Indian Cuisine in future.
