Went yesterday afternoon for a cold treat. 5 cars in the drive thru ahead of me. The line went QUICK! Service was outstanding. My Royal Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard was FULL of cheesecake bites, strawberries and Graham crackers. I only wanted about 5 minutes total for it, I would have happily waited much longer. It was the tastiest thing I've had this summer!
Good: Fresh food, decent prices, good ice cream Bad: Wait times, parking/drive thru space is tight, location is slightly off the beaten path This is your typical Dairy Queen hidden just off Gibson. A place you could easily miss and will often wait a decent amount of time to go through. However, the food is normally hot and fresh with ice creams being typical dairy queen quality. The dinning area is currently closed along with the patio but drive thru remains open throughout this COVID situation.
I remember years back dairy Queen had an ice cream that was well perfect that was called the banana Royal they no longer carry it but they make it for me which I truly appreciate so yes it's a nice place with nice peopleRecommended dishesIce Cream Cake, Chili Cheese Dog, Cheeseburger Combo, Raspberry Fudge Blizzard, Banana Split, Sundaes, Peanut Buster Parfait, 1 3 lb Double with Cheese Burger, Malts
Man I tell you what I got this big A#$ burger it had cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and three beef patties. It was by far one of the best burgers I have had on a long time. you know the kinda burger that is oh so juicy, sloppy and heaven in your mouth. LIVED IT. The only complaint is that I spent a little over 10 dollars for just that Burger. That's right no drink no Frye's no dilly bar. I didn't even get a napkin with it. The price is to high for just one burger. DQ I think you are forgetting where you started and what you represent. YOU STARTED SMALL AND GREW TO ONE OF THE BEST EATS IN AMERICA. YOU REPRESENT ALL THE BEST EATS WHEN IT COMES TO ICE CREAM BURGERS AND FRYE'S. YOU REPRESENT A FAMILY FRIENDLY DELICIOUS CAKES AND FRIENDLY SERVICE WITH A WARM SMILE. REMEMBER FOR GOODNESS SAKES I BEG YOU TO REMBER. Because at these prices I will only be able to eat there once every 3 months.
Always pretty good but the Sundays have almost no hot fudge anymore & burgers seem smaller.
Their burgers are surprisingly ok and of course their ice cream is amazing!Food: 4/5
Dairy Queen has really stepped up their game. Hadn't been there in years, probably since about 2011, because the last time was an awful experience. My daughter raved about her meal. I will go back for a meal myself. I had an excellent chocolate-dipped ice cream cone. I was impressed!
This location's food is ALWAYS on point. The best fast food in a mile radius. I don't know why there aren't more Dairy Queen's in Albuquerque. The manager possibly owner does a great job if interacting with the employees to make sure things are done right. I have to order no bun and it does not even phase them. No matter who I am interacting with I get consistent quality in food and customer service. I have questions? They know the answer or will ask a manager politely. The Pink Punch Misty slushy is great tasting but not as good as a sonic slush a little less frozen could have been machine was tired but worth the food quality. The only complaint I have is there were so many cars in line I had to wait a full 10 minutes for food which only happens at the good places.
Truly has the BEST hot fudge sundae! They truly have the most expensive one too! LoL.
Freindly staff. Icecream is good. Drive thru only.Food: 4/5
