edit- this location is no longer AYCE, which was the reason I came. I had thought I altered my review previously. Go to Rakuzen for AYCE; it's not too far away. 15.99 for lunch as of 1/12/20. For an AYCE sushi spot, you can't do much better. 90 minutes to chow down. Drink included. Been here at least 5 times now and have never left disappointed. Come alone for lunch or bring a group. The tempura ice cream is amazing and worth it for 5 bucks. Staff very nice and they remember you; have had a few conversations with the manager now.
It is a decent Japanese fusion restaurant which is located on the 57th Street, Sunset Park. First, you place your orders on the paper by writing a number in front of the names of the food you want to eat. Then, the server would bring out the food for you when it is ready. They serve fast while you wait. Although it sets the rule for 90 minutes seating for all you can eat, you won't lose too much time on waiting for food. The place is moderate size, but with lovely decorations you can see. They make delicious appetizers and sushi rolls. Lastly, if you have left over food, they would charge you. Be aware, it is always very hard to find a parking space in this neighborhood!
Very Nice time to come during mothers day. It wasn't too busy at 530. We received all our orders and had a beautiful complementary rose for my mommy.
A standard all you can eat sushi place. Very good sushi and appetizer. Feels like this place is 95% similar with Rakuzen. Heard about the two places has the same boss, probably it's true. Lunch buffet is $14.99 includes free soda. Soda tastes better than the one in Rakuzen. But miso soup is not really good, on the other hand, miso is very special in Rakuzen. First time tried the pine colada here, because the price is attractive, $3.5. It tastes very interesting, icy, creamy and milky, suits the hot weather. Overall the sushi is fresh and decent. Didn't like the ones in Rakuzen. About parking, checked the review earlier, lots of people complained about it. I was little worried. It's much more cars here than surrounding areas, but lucky we found meter parking a block away.
Food is excellent with high-quality ingredients being used, service was served fast and the food was coming out of the door really fast, really didn't expect good food with that fast service but ended up really enjoying ourselves with other family members and friends, Would definitely recommend this to every family member and friends to eat here, Price is reasonable and if you eat there at lunch the price would be cheaper
Daizen was a good experience. All you can eat sushi for 90 minutes. Good selection of sushi rolls, sashimi, and appetizers. Soft drinks are unlimited refills too. All for 15 dollars for lunch. The service is good and restaurant is clean.
Great sushi lunch buffet. Awesome selection and quick service highly recommend this location
Went with friends thinking it was an All-You-Can-Eat sushi place based on previous reviews. Unfortunately it changed owners, thus the All-You-Can-Eat option is removed. However, despite the fact that we can't eat for a cheaper price, the food was relatively good for it's price. Had a great time eating with friends there. Service was up there.
Been here a few times and I have to say it’s very worth the price. Overall, they make pretty good food and the environment there adds on to that. Great choice for any sushi lover. Only bad thing is that sometimes it gets very crowded and might have to wait around half an hour to be able to get a spot
Fantastic selection of Asian dishes. All you can eat is great. Cheaper the earlier you get there. Seating is a bit hard to find as it is veey popular. Depending on how much you order the food service is decent. Food tastes great but sushi comes in a small size so you have to get a big amount to feel full.
