Dr. Read has been our pediatrician since the day our daughter was born, in August 2011, in the middle of hurricane Irene. We trust her like family. She has been a fantastic practician, very knowledgeable, very kind and always of good advice. You can tell that she loves her job and working with children. She takes time to explain in detail, without rushing us during visits. Dr. Read understands kids and parents' fears and manage to help overcome these fears. Our daughter loves her. We highly recommend Dr. Read and her staff!

My teenage kids love going to Dr. Read. They have been visiting Dr. Read for 7 years now. My daughter feels very comfortable talking about any issues with Dr. Read. Dr. Read is always very patient and genuinely interested in anything that concerns my kids. She is excellent in diagnosis and most of the time we do not need to see her for follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Read

Great Physician, amazing individual and great bedside manners. She spend time with her patients and give a listening ears. Can contact anytime and if it’s an emergency with the child, she their no matter what. Loving doctor and care for my kids. I have two sons and I am pleased with the way they are taking care of. And the assistant, she’s incredibly amazing, I recommend Dr. Read 100% and trust me!! You won’t regret it.

Our 3 children ages 3, 5 and 6 have been seen by Dr. Read since we moved to New York 3 years ago. Dr. Read is very professional and knowledgeable in her domains of expertise. We have been reaching out with different medical issues, which she has always been able to address effectively. Dr. Read has also provided us with helpful referrals based on a wide network of professionals and supportive services that are well connected with her office. In addition to her professionalism, Dr. Read stands out for her language skills, her friendly and human approach and adaptability. She has a great ability to create a rapport with her patients. And Dr. Read’s assistant is very nice, too. Our children love to go to the doctor!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Read, or her wonderful assistant Thandi. My daughter is a very precocious & challenging teen who had outgrown her "baby dr" pediatrician a couple years ago, so we were seeking a more adolescent-friendly provider. What a blessing to find this practice! Dr Read & Thandi are a great team; they are so responsive and work diligently with both my daughter and me to make sure we have our questions answered & our needs met. My daughter, who is VERY hesitant to like or trust most adults, is very happy receiving care here - that in itself is a huge endorsement!

Dr Read has been taking care of my 5 year old twin boys since their birth, and we couldn't be happier. She is attentive, caring and very knowledgeable. She has a very friendly and solar personality. She always takes plenty of time visiting the boys and takes special care engaging them and putting them at ease. She is very responsive, and always gave us the feeling that no problem is too small to ask her advice. She gets back very quickly, even during weekends and holidays, always advising us on what to do if for some reason she cannot see them promptly like for thanksgiving hives... Words can not describe what and incredible and loving doctor Dr Read is. She was my sister and I doctor first and now she our kids doctor. She always take the time to interact with you and one of the things I love with her I remember when I was a teenager she was very strict with me because she couldn't share certain information with my mom she discipline me like a mom and not just a doctor that why I feel confident having her as my children doctor . Dr Read is the best I remember the day I had to depart from her after I turn 21 I cry like a baby and always promise her once she still a doctor when I get kids she will be my kids doctor. Dr read is a amazing doctor. She has been my doctor since I was about 14. I am in my mid 20's and still see her. She see patients up to the age of 26..I will recommend her to anyone. Definitely when I have kids they are going to her for everything.

Words don't adequately describe how happy I am with Dr. Read and Thandi. I was looking for an adolescent pediatrician for my daughter, and I stumbled across Dr. Read after having visits with two other doctors previously. I was welcomed and my questions were answered. It is a blessing to have them. We couldn't be happier!
