I had some initial issues with my appointment not getting scheduled, but they dealt with it quickly and had someone out the same day. Every one of the techs that came to our home was extremely polite and helpful. Got our refrigerator working like new again!
I had scheduled an appointment for today, Jan 26, for them to come check my washer for them to turn around and charge me $150 and trying to leave before even confirming the problem was fixed. They told me the washer was fine, but they tried to rush off before even double checking. When I asked them to double check, they had then told me that it wasn't in fact okay. They told me that I needed multiple parts and that I would need to wait another 2 weeks for them to come back to do the job. Ontop of that costs of labor and parts, and waiting time I am out of a washer for 2 weeks and out of $150 for today for something they didn't even provide. Honestly, with the costs of their time and parts it's not far off from the original price of my washer, might as well just go buy a new one. Would have been great if they had provided me the service they offered. I do not recommend.
I have not had a good experience with Dalton Service Center doing warranty repairs on my whirlpool range. They were slow to schedule initially, and after the original service call they were instructed to call my wife when they had the parts to schedule the warranty service. They called me while I was at work, and I left several messages that they have to call my wife. She tried to call them several times only for the phone to ring and have the call disconnected before someone answered. I finally had a weekday off and I had to call 6 times in a row to talk to a person who was rude and dismissive. If anyone has a choice about using Dalton Service Center, I would wholeheartedly recommend that they find another service provider.
————-Totally frustrated with this company. They came to fix my refrigerator but the job couldn’t be completed because they “forgot” to bring one part. Technician told me that he will came back but refrigerator will work fine until he is back. Story short, IT STOPPED WORKING in just 3 days and scheduled service 15 days after. I called 3 times explaining my frustration asking to address my service faster but they told me that the best they can do is to put me on a cancellation list to try to reschedule my service on an earlier date. Very dissatisfied with this company service.
The whole time I called for repair service for our washing machine was very stressful. Up until I found, " Dalton Service Center, LLC " the staff is very professional. Greg the repairman was stupendus . We will definitely use this company again. Pricing is also reasonable and affordable for people tight on money!
It is all in the Customer Service and Dalton does NOT a have that. The only reason for 2 stars is that I worked with Dalton before when you scheduled thru Builder's Source and it was a warranty item. The technicians were great. Getting past customer service to get a technician is a feat in itself, now.
Unfortunately this is not the Dalton Services of years past, things have gotten really bad the last couple years. Their scheduling is usually a couple weeks out so that can be a problem. Then it can take a couple weeks to get parts, and they won't schedule until the parts arrive so that takes a couple more seeks. More than one time now I have had problems with service technicians not diagnosing the problem correctly or ordering wrong parts. I have also had a problem with the technician saying the problem was fixed when it was not, and then it took a couple more weeks to get someone else back out. I usually call Ortegas or Alliance, but unfortunately certain brands or warranty issues can only be handled by Dalton.
I've had good experiences with Dalton in the past, but the most recent service call did not go well. The tech told me he would order parts for my dishwasher and refrigerator, and that he would be back in touch to schedule installation. Or maybe he said he would contact me with a quote. Either way, I never heard back from him. Now my fridge is beeping constantly, needing the filter I thought he had ordered. When I contacted Dalton I learned 1 the parts were not ordered I would have needed to approve the quote and 2 they don't even sell refrigerator filters. If it seems like I'm overreacting...the service call cost $183.00
Poor communications. I have now made three attempts to have a tech or service manager call me about my icemaker that THEY replaced. I am always reassured that it is unusual and I will get a call back promptly. And of course still no call.....That is pathetic customer service And I use that term loosely
I very rarely write reviews, but I couldn't resist on this one. Chris and Jay were so professional, so personable, and actually fixed our problems. Dalton's is a great company to do business with! Highly recommended with no reservations.
