Danbarry Cinemas

Been to this particular theater 2 times in the past month. The first time it was great. Only 2 others in the theater. Warm and clean. This last time, a whole other story. The heat wasn't working. The concession was not very friendly or accommodating.

Clean movie theater and quality of movie was great. The movie theater was clean unlike the lobby. Will still go back regardless.

Was the only ones in the movie 🎥...that I would give a 5 star. However wasn't told when we purchased tickets that the heat was off and the air was on! We were freezing! Had already left Chillicothe and 30 minutes back home, then back to Chillicothe to watch a late movie. Had no blankets to warm us and forced to use a yoga mat. If we wouldn't have already purchased the tickets and looking so forward to the movie, would have asked for a refund. Just wish we were told the air was on and no heat on the website since this had been an issue for almost a month we were told after I finally complained. So stubbornly we still stayed for the movie.

Danbarry is ok they usually have more movies to pick from but they are also more expensive than say tri city in jackson there popcorn is not as good as tri citys either the one time their popcorn was super salty and we asked for extra butter but it didnt go all through the bucket was mostly dry the seats are also smaller than tri city you feel squashed...want a better more comfortable visit go to tri city unless of course danbarry is the only theatre with your movie

It's the only first-run theater in town, and it seems like they know it. It looks and feels dirty. Staff is efficient, if not particularly friendly or welcoming. Darker films are hard to see, and the volume is sometimes uncomfortably loud.
