Dance Expressions

My daughter has been dancing here since Shannon opened in 2013. She just recently graduated and we could not have loved our experience anymore than we did at Dance Expressions. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, kind and determined to make your child better. She was on the competition team for 6 years and it was overall a fun and supportive experience. Also not to mention the choreography here is unmatched in Rhode Island. The girls on the team and the teachers were all amazing and nice. If you want a great studio that is welcoming, gossip free and overall amazing, chose DE!

Dance Expressions is easily one of the best dance studios in Rhode Island. I’ve been dancing with Dance Expressions since Shannon opened the doors in 2013. Let me just tell you that I have grown tremendously not only as a dancer but as a person as well. The staff and teachers are super nice, supportive and are there to help you get better every single class. I was a part of the competition team for 6 years and it was such a fun and uplifting experience! The girls on the team are super friendly and so supportive of one another. We are a huge family at DE! We have some of the best choreography in RI and such a supportive community. If you’re looking to put you or your child in a fun, safe, supportive and gossip free dance school, then chose DE!!

Dance Expressions has been perfect for my two daughters! Shannon and staff know how to manage a classroom, and push their students to grow in technique, while also having fun. My daughters love going to dance every week, and I always enjoy watching them dance in the annual recital! I recommend this studio to everyone :

Dance Expressions has served as a great 'home' for our daughter. It served as a safe and welcoming place during a time of transition, and continues to be a comforting place to belong. My daughters have been part of the Dance Expressions community for 3 years. It’s like a second home for my two daughters. They are developing wonderful friendships. They continue to flourish as dancers and are very committed to the studio, their dance friends, teachers, and staff. They have a variety of opportunities to learn and excel in all the genres of dance. The staff and teachers are friendly and fun, yet also instill the importance of teamwork, pride and a good work ethic when pursuing your passion for dance. We have developed strong bonds and relationships with the Dance Expressions families and staff. The encouragement and support is amazing. My daughters have the opportunity to learn valuable leadership skills. The lessons learned from being on the competition team as committed dancers will serve them well in whatever they decides to pursue in the future. We love the sense of community and family, and look forward to many more happy years at Dance Expressions!

This will be my daughter‘s seventh year with Dance Expressions. It has been a joy to see my daughter’s skill-level and confidence increase throughout the years. I highly recommend Dance Expressions if you are looking for great dance education and fun!

All of our girls love Dance Expressions. The studio rooms are big and spacious and the teachers are all amazing and very patient. Shannon does a great job with communicating all upcoming events and deadlines to the parents. Highly recommend!!!

My daughter loves her acrobatics class with Ms. Nicole. The teacher is warm, attentive and professional. I really love that the kids get one on one attention and they aren't treated like another number. Highly recommend!
