Stephanie from Dance Well is so much fun and so obviously loves what she does that our dance classes go by in what seems like nine seconds. She has taken us from complete beginners at Lindy Hop to where we know the steps and a bunch of moves and can see how much fun this dance is. There is a ton more to learn but Stephanie makes it seem possible. We definitely recommend her.

My husband and I worked with Stephanie for our first dance choreography and had the most wonderful time! Neither of us had ever done ballroom dancing before, so we were complete novices walking into our first class. Stephanie was so kind, patient, and helped us slowly become comfortable with this beautiful style of dance so much so that we still enjoy doing some of the steps when we find ourselves on a dance floor now and then!. We came to her with a medley of a few songs that we wanted to include in our first dance. She encouraged us to incorporate different styles of dance for each song, based on the tempo/vibe, which made it really fun and engaging. Stephanie also offered virtual dance lessons, which was really helpful when our schedules wouldn’t sync or we were traveling - we were still able to keep up with our practices to make sure we were prepared in time. Lastly, as an added bonus - these dance lessons were such a lovely break from wedding planning, and encouraged us to take a few moments for ourselves during a very busy time. Definitely something I would encourage all couples to do!

Stephanie is an incredible dance teacher!! I’m so grateful we met. She has taught me so much about Swing dancing in a fun relaxed way that helps me put my overthinking aside so I can dance. She has a lot of knowledge and is also just a great human with so many amazing stories to share. I look forward to taking more lessons with her!!

Stephanie was such a fun and excellent coach for our wedding dance. We were impressed by how she quickly understood our individual and very novice dancing styles, and provided the exact direction that we needed. As a couple with very little dancing experience and very different learning styles, this was the key! We also appreciated how she approached learning a first dance by making sure that we understood the framework and building upon that in a way that we could easily adapt on the big day, so we were entirely comfortable when the time came. We're so grateful to Stephanie! She was super communicative during the process.

Stephanie was amazing to work with! My now husband and I would not call ourselves dancers and knew we needed expert guidance to wow our wedding guests with our first dance. Stephanie held us to a high standard and called us out when it was clear we didn't practice at home. She pushed us to do the very best dance we could, and we are so grateful! Our guests could not stop talking about how great our first dance was and we are so grateful to Stephanie for her her fabulous choreography, guidance, and her patience. Can't recommend her enough!

We learned so much and had so much fun working with Stephanie. She choreographed a first dance for us to a very tricky piece of music in a style that we wanted. Stephanie helped us choreograph our first dance at our wedding. We weren't looking for an overly complicated routine, but we wanted to feel comfortable dancing in front of a large crowd and not just sway back and forth. Stephanie was great at listening to our concerns, understood what we were looking for, and also made the dance lessons really enjoyable. We're not experienced dancers, but ended up feeling very prepared and had an amazing time. Stephanie's choreography led to some really amazing photos as well!

We hired Stephanie for last minute dance lessons the month before our wedding because we wanted a choreographed dance. Stephanie was so kind, fun and easy to work with, and made us feel super comfortable in just 4 lessons! She wrote down our steps & gave us recordings to work off of so we would be able to practice on our own. By the time our wedding rolled around in just 4 short weeks we felt confident enough to do our first dance in front of 200 people! I would recommend Stephanie to anyone who is looking to add some fun and unique moves to their first dance, and feel confident going into their wedding day!

Stephanie is an AWESOME instructor! We had a great experience learning how to dance from her. She was very patient with us and helped us to be confident for our first dance at our wedding. She was able to choreograph a dance specific to our favorite Armenian song. Stephanie is highly recommended and we are so grateful that we found her!

Stephanie is an incredible dance teacher with a LOT of patience! We came in with zero dancing experience, wanting to do a non-traditional quick first dance for our wedding and she made us look incredible. It's worth mentioning that we practiced a lot on our own 20 min every day for six weeks! in between lessons, which was critical for us, but every time we came in for a lesson, Stephanie helped us work out any issues and made sure we felt comfortable with what we were doing. She can honestly make people with two left feet look like they're pros! We kept it a secret from our friends and family so they had quite the shock on the big day! Highly, highly recommend working with Stephanie - you won't regret it.
