Very nice facilities. 100yd rifle , 30yd pistol, shotgun, rifle, and a 25yd pistol range.

That Dane County's law enforcement and the DNR open this facility up to the public is a brilliant and proactive move. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, the five ranges are well furnished and clean, and the ambience is conducive to safe and enjoyable experiences for people of many ages. The admittance fee is quite reasonable, and I might only recommend that the staff inform folks as they sign in of any ongoing special events, how busy the ranges are, and any limitations this may impose (in terms of which ranges are available, what shooting distances are presently allowable at each, and whether or not any time constraints are in place). This wonderful service enables the citizens to train their friends and youths on safe and responsible firearm use, promoting a sensible and conscientious public and a healthy perception of the rightful role of these tools in our culture. Thank you, DCLETC, for being there for us, and for doing what you do.
