Dangerously Delicious Pies

Great pies! I got a piece of the mixed berry and had it for dessert over the course of two nights because of how generous their slices are!

For a number of the pies, we loved the filling. However, an important part of any pie is the crust, and theirs is very disappointing. Not flaky at all, it's thick and dense, and 'flavorless'. It detracts from the 'pie' experience.

Best pies we ever ate. The whole band got fed & NO BS, everyone got a different pie & every single one was the best pie we had ever eaten. Don't mess up & miss out. And the crew are THE BEST!

The sweet potato pie wasn't awful, but the chicken pie was not good at all. It was bland I had to ad my own seasonings and the chicken was EXTREMELY dry. Too expensive for the quality.

I've been getting late night pie here for years, and they got 'em. Sweet pie? Yes. Savory pie? Yes. In-between quiche? Indeed. I have not tried every pie yet but so far I have not been disappointed. I also frequent their newish upstairs music venue, which has already become a DC institution.
