Danny's Drive-In

Tried this spot for the first time since moving up here from Stamford. This spot is solid if you just want your basic burger and dog with a side of fries. This isn’t gourmet by any means but they’re not trying to be. I ordered a Carolina, the coney burger, with a side of mozz sticks and fries. I was given sauerkraut on the Carolina by accident and they rectified it immediately and was super nice about it. Our family def enjoyed ourselves. I’d recommend if you want a quick bite with a family/friends.

A great landmark burger and dog spot! The original burger works includes lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper on a fresh bun reminds me of French Bakery buns! and is satisfying. They also make real milk shakes with ice cream no chemical shakes here! Picnic tables to eat at outside or eat in your car aka drive-in.

If you're looking for a classic, New England drive-in, this is it. I ate a Carolina dog, Patty melt and onion rings. Everything was fine. I can't say I wouldn't have gotten better food at other nearby establishments. The customer service was great.

I want to think that i got a wrong order!! I order a 10onz special burger that they have for $14.99. But i was really surprised when i got home and open it. It was extremely poor. If this is the $14.99 burger that I order i think we have a problem

Not worth it. I paid $16 for a burger, milkshake and frozen fries that were not even cooked! Also the prices were much higher than the posted prices. I'm sure this always the case as this is the reason I stopped coming here 2 years ago. A mistake to give this place another chance and poor, immature staff too boot. Drive the few extra minutes to somewhere better.

Tried this place out since I saw them on the news, man they drop the ball my wife ordered a "patty melt" they forgot the cheese we also ordered mozzarella sticks and I bit into one and there was no cheese in the middle it was just breading I never seen that in my life , we also ordered our burger medium well and there was so much pink inside i wish I can post pictures the whole experience was terrible 33 bucks and we had to throw out our food and get some food from somewhere else

I was a long time customer until today. I went by, excited for my usually burgers from my favorite burger place. And then I got my food home. I was missing a fry and our burgers were red in side. So I called them and they asked me to come back so I did and they recooked my items and put in the fry I’d been missing. Got home; and the burgers were even more raw than before. I’ve eaten at Danny’s forever. But after spending $33, for food I couldn’t eat; I won’t return. Especially after I gave them the chance to fix it and they just made it worse.

Haven't been here in a couple years. Assuming new management. Waited 20 minutes for a burger. No organization. Fries cold, single burger when paid for double cheeseburger. Asked what I wanted to order after waiting for 15 minutes. Finally order came, asked if I wanted frequent customer card. So tone deaf, will never be back. Sorry to see such a landmark managed so terribly. Stay away.

I ordered the blue burger, onion rings, and a strawberry shake. My order was 16$. The burger had blue cheese salad dressing on it, the cheap kind. Even with the cheap salad dressing on it the burger had absolutely no flavor. I even tried to throw my onion rings on the burger to make it taste a little better. Still gross. The girl at the counter was nice. The shake was pretty good but still not worth $5. All in all not a place I would ever return to.

Classic roadside hot dog stand that has been in the same location for as long as I have been around. I got the usual quick service and my meal was ready promptly. The two hot dogs I had were great. They have made it easier on everyone by just having one size soda .... one less decision to make! I enjoy eating here more often than my doctor and my trainer would like.
