I've used Darlene's Pet Sitting since 2009 with great results.  My dogs are happy and well taken care of,  and I never have to worry about them getting exercise while I'm away.  Both Darlene and Heidi respond to my requests promptly. I also appreciate the after visit messages,  so I know when they've been walked.

I don't know if Darlene has a fantastic service or a poor service.  But I contacted to discuss the needs for walking/caring for my dog.  She wasn't very good at returning email and when she did she said she would be happy to come by. She never responded again, even after I followed up.  I don't mind if someone doesn't have the time or want to provide the service but it was disappointing to not have any communication at all if that was the case.  If you are like me and are very careful about who takes care of your dog, you may want to consider this when looking.

I have been working with Darlene for over 6 years and I can undoubtedly say she is my lifesaver. I have two coonhounds that she has looked after for many years. Anyone who knows coonhounds knows they are sensitive creatures and can require extra special care. One of my coonhounds is particularly sensitive and quite unique. Darlene understands him and knows what he needs. He is a fearful dog and needs a lot of reassurance that everything is okay. Knowing that Darlene understands this takes a huge weight off my shoulders. My other coonhound is very high energy and wants to play constantly. She requires a lot of attention and snuggles. Darlene has to juggle both dynamics and she does so we great skill. When I come home from out of town after Darlene has watched my dogs, I can tell they are happy and have been well cared for. This is so important to me.  My dogs are so very special to me and I love them with all my heart. I know I can count on Darlene to be there for them and give them what they need. This is a huge relief for me when I cannot be with my dogs. I know that they will be safe, happy and cared for when I am away. This helps me enjoy my trips out of town and relieves stress when I am at work. She constantly attends to my dogs at last minute notice and is always accommodating to my crazy schedule. I greatly appreciate her flexibility and reliability and dedication to pet sitting services. Thank you for all that you do Darlene!!! You are my pet sitting angel!
