Can highly recommend going to Dasha Wellness for any physical therapy needs. The office is very well staffed and equipped and there is this Zen feeling when you walk in. Dr. Pollock and his team do thorough examination and the chiropractor and the physical therapist work together to deliver the best care. Whether is it is chronic long term pain or one off thing, I have had the best experience there.
I love Shannon and she is the best! I also loved Dasha and all of their services... I totally recommend Dasha wellness. FYI their acupuncturist also helped me get pregnant. It is not alway easy to get pregnant and for all the women out there that struggle with this you know what I mean.
I have problems with my neck and shoulders due to having a desk job, and going to Dasha has been very helpful in alleviating pain and other symptoms. I have been doing physical therapy and chiropractic/massage, and recently started acupuncture, all at Dasha Grand Central. I try to go every week if I can, and I start to feel it if I have to skip an appointment. Everyone in the office is professional and very nice. Highly recommend.
I had an amazing experience with the team at Dasha! I am being treated for stress headaches and anxiety. So far I have been doing active release which helps to relieve the pain and one on one yoga which allows me to reconnect with my body and slow down. I highly recommend!
Dr. Pollack and the dedicated staff at DASHA Wellness have helped give me my life back. There is no hyperbole in that statement. While words cannot fully express my gratitude to this extraordinary group of individuals, I find it necessary to let this city, and the world, know in some detail what my journey with DASHA has been like, from the broken condition I was in when I first entered their office to the dramatically reconstructed person that they have created. Since my first visit, Dr. Pollack and his entire team have rebuilt me to the point where I am darn close to the person I was before my health spiraled out of control four years ago. They have showed me critically important stretches that I needed to do, literally putting their hands on me and showing me the correct form and how long to hold it. I was taught postural and core exercises that would strengthen my hips and back and help lift my chest off of my ribs. They taught me how to properly activate my glutes, to help stabilize my core and take pressure off of all the havoc that having weak glutes was creating upstream. All of this came with a vast array of modifications, since I could not do many of the standard exercises. It was very much trial and error for a little while, trying different exercises and positions and reporting back on how I felt from them. I am by no means a straightforward case, as the beginning of this writing makes clear. Before going to DASHA, I would watch endless rehab videos on the Internet and try to practice exercises and stretches that were either ineffective or more painful. In cases like mine, one really needs the right professionals to closely monitor what is going on individually, and DASHA is uniquely suited to do just that. Dr. Pollack and his team work together as a true unit, in close quarters with each other, consistently collaborating while discussing their observations about clients that many of them share. Each comes from their own discipline with different clinical experience. Yet they all feel for those in pain and want to help. I am not much of a spiritual person, yet it is hard not to be moved in such a way when I reflect on what Dr. Pollack and his team have done for me. I believe that goodness on this Earth comes from good deeds brought forth by good people. In this sense DASHA has been my temple of healing and education. I tell this story about an incredible group of people who have helped me rise from the depths of despair, so those out there who suffer in such ways know a place exists that can help, as they have for me. And they won’t give up.
I was apprehensive at first about trying the telehealth chiropractic sessions. I’ve had upper back pain for the past three months. The chiropractic doctor at Dasha that worked with me was very kind and patient. They gave me routines to try at home that I’ve been following and I already feel like I am improving! I’m plan to continue with my routine and hope to show more progress.
Dasha is truly an amazing wellness center. When you walk in, you feel like you are entering a spa! The staff is friendly, professional and they are all very experienced at what they do. I love that the staff really listens to your needs and spends as much time with you as needed to make you feel better. Lev the physical therapist is miracle worker!! One visit with him and your pain is gone. Make sure you ask for him at your next appointment! I love this place! Shannon and Darren run an amazing place!
After visiting an urgent care center and an acupuncturist I went to visit Dasha for a chiro consultation...Dr. Pollack and staff were truly great. Dr. Pollack took the time to explain what causes my leg and back issues. As an athlete it's important that I understand how my body works. I didn't get nearly close the information that Dasha gave me. I also feel 100% better. I highly recommend visiting Dasha. You'll feel very welcomed.
I have had neck and back problems for a long time, so I have seen several different chiropractors. Dr. Pollack and the entire staff at Dasha is great!! The staff always gets me in and out and when I leave I am walking better than when I came in. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good chiropractor.
I have tried many other chiropractic and physical therapy across the city. At one of those, a substitute doctor suggested I seek for a chiropractor using the graston method because he thought it would help my body as a whole. The doctor expressed concern that every muscle area was too tight and I needed to avoid anything but light yoga and Pilates to combat this coupled with graston chiropractic services. After doing searches, I found Dasha and scheduled a consultation. I was excited to learn they also did physical therapy as some of my current issues stemmed from an ankle break that required surgery 2 years prior. I have been going twice a week for a month now. A regular appointment goes like this: 1 Heat and stem electrotherapy in area of concern followed by massage of that area 2 chiropractic evaluation and treatment 3 physical therapy treatment It goes beyond my past experiences because Dasha treats your entire body and acknowledges how it is all connected. Also, they will do the deep stretches on site and assure you know how to do the 'regular ' ones at home. I come out of every appointment feeling better and also with the knowledge my current issue is being cared for at the same time they evaluate and care for my whole body. *Dasha does offer acupuncture, but my insurance will not cover it.
