It was such a relief to find Dr. Kurtzman's clinic! Mom had Alzheimer's disease and I had been absolutely unable to find anyone around who'd see her until my personal dentist asked around in his professional network. He is an absolute gem and was so genuinely kind and sweet with her. It made all the difference in her comfort level and behavior in the clinic. While we did not stick around too long due to putting mom on hospice and her passing away, we had a wonderful experience in the two visits we did get in. Dr. Kurtzman even made a great impression on my own dentist such that it was commented on at my next appointment. I am so glad to know that there is someone out there caring for this population of the elderly.
Solid practice! I myself have autism, i am already uncomfortable with the dentist. that is till I found DK and Dr B they are both wonderful and simply outstanding! they make any person love going to the dentist
Dr. David Kurtzman and his staff shout out to Allison are extremely caring, compassionate, and professional. I brought my mom to his office specifically because she has severe dementia and is a challenging case. He treated her with respect and kindness and managed to do a thorough examination which her previous dentist deemed impossible. Thank you so much for the peace of mind and tremendous relief I have in knowing her dental health is taken care of. 2021 Update! Dr. Kurtzman has once again proven himself to be a genuinely caring and kind human being. My mom’s decades old dental bridge fell out, so I immediately contacted his office for advice. Even though we don’t live in the area and he likely couldn’t be the one to assist us, he called me from his personal phone to talk it through and offer his expertise and suggested that I bring her to a local oral surgeon. I’m so grateful to have met him and again I can’t recommend his practice enough.
Dr. Kurtzman is the most amazing dentist and one of the most amazing people ever! When I started going to him, I had not had dental insurance in years and I was young, and just prone to cavities. My mouth was a piece of work. He got me ALL THE WAY TOGETHER in just under two years. We put a plan together to restore my teeth to perfection. He and his staff are just genuinely so caring and thorough in their work. He's what you want in a dentist, because he sees your smile is a reflection of his work. I mean before meeting Dr. Kurtzman, I was completely apprehensive about going to the dentist, but that has certainly changed and I look forward to visiting the office and the pleasant staff during my appointments.
Not only is Dr. Kurtzman a kind, patient, and gentle dentist, he is also a wonderful human being. I have terrible anxiety when it comes to dentistry because of an experience from my past. It was so bad that I stopped going to the dentist for many many years. Now, even for a cleaning, I need to be nearly sedated to not panic and get sick all over the hygienist. I needed some work done with my teeth and Dr. Kurtzman walked me through every option for keeping me calm/sedation. I have never felt so comfortable trusting someone to work on my teeth while being as sedated as I was. Even though I could barely notice what was happening, he still told me everything he was going to do before he did it and let me know what sounds I was going to here, as that is one of the things that triggers my anxiety. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kurtzman. Additionally, the staff that works in his Marietta office are seriously angels. Especially Allison. She has been so flexible, patient, and kind to all of the different things I have put her through from scheduling changes, to repetitive questions about the procedure and medication, she was so kind to me and made sure I understood everything the way she explained it. I have found my dentists office for LIFE!
Absolutely a great dentist and staff. I've had 2 crowns, implant and fillings and everything is always perfect. Dr. Kurtzman makes you feel comfortable, especially if you're nervous at the dentist, and his work is amazing, no problems at all. Highly recommended, you can feel very confident going here.
I've been going to Dr. Kurtzman for many, many years and consider he and his staff to be exceptional. When I started going to Dr. K in the early 90's, I lived in Marietta. I now live in Roswell, but would not even consider seeking a dentist closer to my home. His practice is worth the drive. Dr. K uses technology well to communicate making the scheduling and keeping of appointments easy - get appointment reminders via text and confirm them this way as well. Dr. K and his wonderful staff keep up on the latest techniques in dentistry and keep constant vigilance on my comfort while visiting their office. Everyone there has great communication skills and listens effectively.
If you are looking for a great Marietta Dentist, I can highly recommend Dr. David Kurtzman. I have been going to Dr. Kurtzman for the past 26 years and can confidently say that he is skilled dentist that goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable during your dental treatment. We live an hour from his office but still make the trip to Marietta as I can't imagine seeing another dentist!
I have major dental phobia. I've been looking for a dentist that specializing in dealing with patients like myself. I came across Dr Kurtzman just when I was about to give up on my search. I went in for my cosultation on February 8th. I was so emotional and full of anxiety I began to cry when just explaining my fear. Dr Kurtzman took his time with our consulation. He gave me insight on who he was what his practice stands for. And how he and his practice take pride in offering the best, comforatable, relaxing and trusting atmosphere. Felt comfortable enough to take the next step and get my x-rays done and schedule my extraction. Even though I still have my fear of the Needle, I am anxious to have my Dental work done. Then I can move on to having Dr Kurtzman getting my teeth back to a healthy status. Only thing because he is such a Fabulous dentist, it's hard to get an appointment that's.not so far out. I believe the wait is worth it. If you can hold on. Hopefully I can get an earlier appointment so I can face my fear and this pain.
Amazing compassion and attention to client care. I've been injured by two previous dentists in the last 20 + years. Caused quite the dental phobia. Dr. Kurtzman and his staff understood this and went out of their way to years worth the dental work in 4 visits. Can not say enough about what a treasure I have found.
