The David York agency has been the most remarkable gift for my elderly parents. Both of them need tremendous assistance around the house in their activities of daily living, and the aides supplied by this agency were unanimously all perfect for my parents’ needs. The compassion they show for my parents, their professionalism, their abilities, and their overall attitudes are all beyond reproach, and I look forward to working together with them for many years. I recommend the David York agency without any hesitation, as I can’t imagine any agency with better staff and with better administration. If all other home health care agencies would learn from them, it would be a better world for the elderly.

I needed the service for the first time and took to the web to find an agency. David York has by far exceeded my expectations with their professionalism, responsiveness, and caring attitude. I can not recommend a better agency for a family caring for a loved one!

My family used the David York Agency to care for our mother for 12 years. They sent many HHAs over the years... only one was truly professional and caring, and she was the reason we maintained this agency's services. Otherwise, we would have gone elsewhere long ago. This is a family-run business and there is a clear lack of skill-sets and professionalism. Aids ranged from incompetent, to dishonest, to dangerous. We heard from a neighbor that they witnessed one York HHA threatening my mother with physical harm in a public place... they would not let her return home with this aid and wanted to call the police. Another of their aids brought bed bugs into her apartment. Another was physically and mentally unable to provide care for my mother, and she could not be replaced for weeks. The scheduling supervisor would not provide us with schedules on a consistent bases in spite of years of asking. The family members who own and run this agency are incapable of resolving licence-threatening violations. Under no circumstances would I ever recommend the David York Agency. Edit/Addition: You will see a boilerplate response to this review from one of the family members who run the agency. I had DOZENS of conversations with her and other staff at the agency over the years... they knew of each and every problem raised in my review and had ample opportunity to work together with the family to correct the situation in a timely manner or at all, which they did not. Again, I would never again entrust the care of my loved ones to the David York Agency.

A superb, caring, responsive agency that, over a four-year period, provided us with superb, caring, responsive, knowledgeable aides. One we had four all of the four years for during-the-week care, and then for the last two years we had another top aide for the weekends. I could not imagine being with a better agency.
