Years ago I was looking for a safe and inspiring place to paint again. DAS was the perfect fit for me! Dawns' medium is acrylic and mine is watercolors, but that was no issue. Dawn is an award winning artist who is passionate about her craft and teaching! I have learned so much from her! In last night's class she encouraged me to use a different approach to a very tough Monet painting that I was struggling with. It was tough to do, but the painting is really coming along. I highly recommend taking Dawn's classes located here in Midtown! There is often open parking right across the street. Oh, and her price for classes is hard to beat!!

I've taken the studio class with Dawn for years! Dawn is an excellent guide on the side for people interested in exploring their own thing. She's also a great teacher for people wanting more direct instruction.
