Middle of the road mini mart in the neck of the woods. Since I am censored to reply back I will reply on the op. That what's missing is EBT available to make purchases. Also possible produce plus purchases from our local CSA's and city farms like Common Good City farm or Fish farms or Trinity Farms or even our local bakery on North Capitol if it's still there anymore. For a time I was all about buying local when I moved here from Mount Pleasant area 12 years ago. I've stayed here and haven't taken a real vacation since I've been here. The Bloomingdale's Farmers Market is super dried out of whole foods and instead have implemented less of things that we all can normally buy or share.
Dc mini market had everything we needed and the people couldn’t have been any nicer or more friendly! Highly recommend this shop!
Great selection of beers, wine, and pantry staples. I always appreciate the friendly service here.
Fantastic selection of beer, wine, and snacks, and reliably has pantry staples like sugar, flour, onions, coffee creamer, etc. Owner/manager is friendly and pleasant, and the "requested items" board near the entrance is a nice touch. I live on the other side of Florida Ave NW, but will happily walk the extra blocks to get here!
Great service! Love their Injera Crisps!
Friendly owner; he remembered me after only a couple of visits. Best selection of beer, cider and seltzers of the shops in the area. Be on the lookout for the yummy Ethiopian dips in the fridge!
Charge you a tax for using a credit card w/o telling you. Will not provide an itemized receipt in order to hide markups - bought 2 items, $6.99 and 13.99, and the charge was close to $26. Avoid if you don’t want to be ripped off.
The owner brings customer service to a new level. He does all the little things that make you want to spend your money for things you need from him. He will also stock items that are difficult to find in the city if you ask him to. Top notch!
This place didn’t used to be bad but the new ownership has raised the price of everything ridiculously and some of the new staff is bad
Perfect little mini Mart. Stocked with lots of great beer and snacks. You can find some obscure drinks here which is pretty great. The gentlemen who runs the place is the best!
