Best chicken and rice EVER! I was very impressed with the flavour of the food, the chicken was spiced to perfection and soft and the rice was delicately flavored but delicious. The salad was fresher and crispy, more than I expect from a halal chicken place. Another review mentioned the white sauce being a must try and I concur, also the red sauce was spicy but flavorful not just heat. Location is a no frills modest small restaurant but the food definitely more than makes up for it. All in all - I think I have found my go to quick and easy lunch spot. Vegetarian options: Falafel and rice
DCG from their new location offers good grub from a bare-bones Tysons building. I wish more would be done with the interior, it's more of a grab and go location than somewhere you want to hangout and eat. The combo platter has generous portions of gyro lamb, tandoori chicken, rice, and a tiny salad. It's almost enough food for two meals. Both white and spicy sauces work very well together. My suggestion is to give more salad in the platter and less rice, most want to at least feel like we're being healthy. The employees were friendly and fast. I think there is also outdoor seating? Vegetarian options: Falafel wrap or platter for a vegetarian option. Dietary restrictions: Halal-friendly meat options.
This is definitely better than halal guys. I wish they were closer but I don’t mind the drive for their delicious platters. Portion is great and meat is super flavorful and tender. I always ask for my sauces on the side, as the chicken is already spiced perfectly and The red sauce can be super hot. Overall great experience highly recommend
Needed something halal and filling for sahar/suhoor during Ramadan. On Saturdays, they’re open till 4am, which worked out perfectly. There are three paths on the menu: chicken, lamb/gyro, or both. In a rectangular foil container, it comes with a bed of rice, a quarter amount of salad, and an add-on sauce white or hot. I tried both the lamb and the chicken with rice, salad, and white & hot sauces. Everything tasted great, especially the chicken! It was cooked in a red marinade a tandoori chicken marinade perhaps? that made it incredibly flavorful and appetizing. Came out to ~$13.
Like the patrons here likes to say “Bussin’”! I followed this spot from Georgetown and glad that they obtain a bigger space to sit down to eat with free parking. The food is very tasty and you can’t go wrong with the white sauce. It does get busy but that’s a good sign that food is worth the weight. People here work hard and definitely deserve your tip.
By far a great place for a gyro & chicken platter, I happened to stop by here around 2 am so there was quite a crowd but it didnt take too long! The food was absolutely delicious and my friends have enjoyed it as well!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
We had chicken over rice couple of times. Taste and quality is great. Taste is consistent, will visit again. Simple Menu. Reasonable price. Will visit again. It has plenty of parking. Good customer service.
Dcg used to be located in Georgetown, but they have since moved to Tysons. The new location is excellent. They now have designated parking, the same late hours, and is easily Highway accessible. The food quality has not diminished at all. It's still fantastic, drunk or not. And they are open until 4 a.m. on the weekend. You can get a heaping plate of rice, salad, and chicken for about $12. The white sauce is definitely not to be missed. It's fantastic. They also now have a seating area, nice bonus. Highly recommended
Read the name and thought sounds good let’s try it. We were not disappointed, it served delicious, & flavorful. Yum! Spicy and packed. Can’t go wrong. We got the platter combo with rice & salad, spicy and white sauce! Yummm -
Same flavor and better sitting area of course! They are so new right now so people need to stop being so judgmental and support the transition they are going through. I have no complaints whatsoever. Their fountain isn’t working yet but they have drinks in the fridge so not a biggie. I would definitely recommend this new DCG location. The plus point is that they have much bigger parking area now unlike older location.
