While visiting Deadwood, an officer Russell was extremely helpful. He not only was patrolling the streets for visters safety but was a wealth of knowledge of the history of Deadwood and Lead. He definitely made our trip more enjoyable. Thank you officer Russell!

I'd like to know where resisting arrest equals a broken nose, concussion, and several facial abrasions. Deadwood police are known for using excessive force and abusing their power. Our wallet has been missing since the night of the arrest and a deputy screamed at me that they do not have it but my boyfriend did when he was taken to the hospital after they beat him senseless. I just tried calling again and was hung up on. This is a professional police department everyone. Definitely a place that you know will protect and serve, not.
