Beautiful and close to home! Perfect distance for a nice afternoon ride to get some activity in nature. We love hearing the frogs by the babbling brook and watching the birds.
I visited when it was frozen over, it was still a nice view from the beach.
One of my favorite places to camp. It offers a beach for swimming, kayaking in the lake, trails for hiking, electric campsites, trees for shade....basically everything you could want in a state park.
Enjoyed seeing the horses while camping in a cabin. Beach was nice for a hot afternoon. Caught some small fish from shore, the big ones would require a boat which they rent. Spent some time on the Knobstone Trail too.
We hiked the Knobstone Trail. Peaceful hike in a snow covered landscape. This should be a great training ground for hiking the Zion National Park. Can't wait.
A nice lake to boat on, non motorized, small beach to enjoy, camping, horse trail, walking trails, you can enter the Knobstone trail right past the guard entrance on the right.
My husband and I had a wonderful time fishing off the dock and catching some rays from the sun!! The lawn was freshly mowed, and the beach area was very clean! Great for a family outing!!
Very good lake for one day trip. Clean water and bank of lake. You can have your boat. Go with drinking water and food. 10$ entry charges per car. Parking is free. Enjoy your summer time here.
