One of my favorite places in UWS… close to campus Columbia but feels as if you are somewhere else completely. It is definitely my getaway place. Great vibes and amazing ambiance. On top of all that, the food is delicious and the coffee is even better. They made my day the first day I went in and asked if they had lavender for a lavender latte! I am a frequent customer here and I love it!!!
One of my favorite restaurants in the Upper West side area! Th ambiance is so chill & the manager is always so nice! This bomb breakfast croissant is my favorite go to! I LOVED this coffeeshop. Dear Mama is a great place for breakfast or a break during the day. The stuff is super friendly and the soce is huge. My oat latte was delicious as well as the nutella pistacchio patry. I enjoyed the graffiti on my way to the restroom!!!
I really enjoy this place! I typically get an iced latte which is always smooth and a chocolate chip cookie. Their chocolate chip cookies are SO good. The texture is just perfect! The staff are always very friendly and helpful too.
I wanted a sunny spot to work in and Dear Mama was the perfect destination! It is inside a Columbia building so the cafe was very crowded but still had a nice atmosphere and lots of seating to accommodate everyone. The baristas provided kind and quick service.Food: 4/5
Dear Mama Coffee, is a great location to get some work done with their spacious well-lit ambiance. The coffee hits well and I even purchased some blends to go and they are great! If you have a sweet tooth don't forget to try their cookies!
We had a very pleasant experience in this place located in the northwest of Manhattan, it is undoubtedly a place that is enjoyed, simple but harmonious, its atmosphere is warm as well as the attention of the staff. The place is spacious enough to go for a coffee, meet friends or have breakfast with the family. I highly recommend it.
An East Harlem staple relocated to West Harlem, Dear Mama provides visitors with a stunning atmosphere, exceptional drinks, next-level bites, and attentive staff. The floor to ceiling windows and open seating plan offer patrons an inviting space for all your productivity needs. Whether swinging by for a quick morning coffee or bunkering down for a day’s worth of work, I strongly suggest checking out this beautiful venue conveniently located right off of the 125th street 1 train! Pro tip: Order both the Maple Velvet Sauce and the Espresso Hot Sauce to accompany your breakfast sandwich!
There are many great things about this coffee shop. The staff are friendly, and the food and drinks are high quality. The space is stunning! Unfortunately they have an INSANE idea about volume level of their music although the quality/type of music is fine--like no other cafe I've ever been to. If you come here _bring earplugs_ or a noise-canceling headset. Also you might have to yell when ordering your food because it's not possible to talk at a normal level when ordering due to the loudness of music being played. It's sort of like nightclub, except no one is dancing. Actually everyone here is either listening to their own music on earbuds/headphones, or is talking to someone else, or is reading, none of which need the cafe's music to be so loud. Several other reviewers have commented about how unpleasantly loud the music is here. It's ironic that the staff professes to like music but seems to be tone-deaf to this point. I haven't seen any reviews that requested the music to be turned up louder or who praised how loud the music is here. It seems to be strictly a staff preference and they don't seem to care about customer preferences. The burger I had was good, although not sure it was $13 good. The croissant was good, much better than average, although not crispy enough to be excellent.
Stumbled across this place with my partner and it's the best cortado I've had in new york ! : Also really delicious breakfast sandwiches! Definitely wanna return whenever I'm in the area.Food: 5/5
