Deccan Caterers

Deccan Spice catered our wedding this year for 450 people and it was fabulous. We were looking for a caterer to do Indian food with good presentation,authentic taste and family style. After trying out a few Indian restaurants recommendations, which didn't measure up, we were lucky to find Deccan Spice. From the first phone conversation, he was personable and easy to work with and helped us think through the logistics and menu. We had a tasting session at their restaurant with some of our friends and they were very responsive to the minor changes we wanted. Deccan Spice was very thorough and responsive throughout the whole process, they came down to the venue to assess the kitchen and facilities and provided us with a detailed contract for food and rentals based on it. On the day, Deccan Spice and their team did a fabulous job. Everyone, Indians included : , was impressed with food - the taste and the presentation - . In the appetizers, the Chicken - 555 and Pepper Chicken were a big hit. For the main course the Gongura Chicken and the Goat curry were just lapped up by the guests, even people who don't eat Goat normally couldn't stop raving about it. Overall we were very impressed with Deccan Spice food and their professionalism - highly recommend Caterers to anyone interested in innovative Indian food catering.
