Deer Baby Photography

My family, including 7 mo old baby and dog, met Renee for a mini photo shoot in Central Park. It was short, sweet and within a couple weeks, we got beautiful photos that really captured all the personalities with the backdrop of the park! Renee was easy to communicate with, thoughtful about picking out settings and helped us feel natural throughout the shoot! She helped tease out some beautiful smiles from the baby. She also did a fabulous job editing the best shots. This was exactly the experience we wanted. Definitely recommend for all, especially families.

Highly recommended! I surprised my husband with a family photo shoot for Father's Day and couldn't be happier with the results! Everything was seamless, from booking the session to receiving our photos. Communication was easy and friendly. Franzi was our photographer and she did such an amazing job! She arrived on time and was a pleasure to spend an hour with. She made us all feel very comfortable and natural including our 2.5 and 4 year old. Anjola was so amazing! We absolutely loved our pictures and experience with her. She came promptly and immediately started setting up and knew exactly where to shoot and what to do which is so amazing when you have a little one who can be unpredictable on schedule. She was professional and so gentle / good with our little one when it came to taking the pictures. Anjola captured moments with our baby girl so perfectly in the comfort of our home and it’s something we’ll get to keep forever! Would highly recommend her for newborn + any future family photos!

My husband and I wanted to capture photos professionally of our baby boy, who was 3 months at the time of the shoot. We were looking for a certain minimalist and elegant aesthetic, and Deer Baby delivered just that. Our photographer was Franzi, who was absolutely lovely in every way. She knew exactly how to capture the attention of our baby, and we were all very much at ease and enjoyed the session. The photos themselves are exactly what we envisioned. Evocative, beautiful, serene. We can't wait to decorate our walls and create albums with them! We will definitely be returning to Deer Baby/Franzi for any future photography needs.

We just had the most amazing newborn photo shoot experience with Franzi. She was warm and professional and amazing with our baby girl. We all had the best time together and our photos reflect that. This review is long overdue but we had the most wonderful experience with Deer Baby! Franzi was so wonderful to work with. With a now 4 month old I often think back in amazement at our ability to so seamlessly get through a shoot with our colicky little dude and our very anxious dog just a few days post partum, and I truly attribute it all to Franzi. She made the process so easy and fun, and we have the most beautiful images as a result!

I used to think newborn photoshoots were unnecessary. However, everyone told me that I would regret not doing it, so I set out on the unenviable task of finding a photographer in NYC who would come to my home and take gorgeous photos. I looked at dozens of photographers before choosing Deer Baby Photography. I am so happy that I did!!!! Franzi is an incredible creative who captured our newly expanded and exhausted! family beautifully. The photos are stunning, and I am overjoyed that we have such incredible snapshots of these early days with our little peanut. Thank you, Franzi!!!!

Franzi was great for both my maternity and newborn photo sessions. She was very accommodating when we had to change the date last minute for inclement weather. Amazing to work with and would highly recommend
