Del Carmen's Pizza

Great pizza- you can definitely tell it’s the original sauce recipe!! Delicious! I really wanted to shout out the employee who when I picked up my order, immediately offered to bring it out to my car to help me since I was carrying my toddler. I appreciate the kindness so much!!Food: 5/5

The owner or manager responded to my disappointment, but he got the time element incorrect because he said I waited two months, but I did not. I went into talk to him, and I met with a young girl who said that’s too bad and went on to do whatever she was doing, and that was it.. your apology is nice Carmens, but honestly, your criticizing me was not acceptable. I have never posted a derogatory review on Google and I felt like I had to because I thought I would hear from the owner or manager of Del Carmens in Mount Zion, but I never heard from him so after two months, I thought I would put on the review.

I actually went into the restaurant to place my order. Employee repeated back the items I wanted on the pizza and charged accordingly. However, my calculations had some up different. What I didn't realize was that the prices on the menu were for a cheese pizza, and then the customer is charged for each additional ingredient. Just should've ordered one of their specialty pizzas. Anyway, the pizza was good and hot. There was a jalapeño on each square and on the other pizza a pepperoni. The sauce is a bit sweet for my taste. The other sauces didn't appeal to me. Overall, the service was great and I may even want a pizza with sweet sauce. Parking: Parking is alongside and behind the building.

I haven't lived in Decatur for almost 25 years, but I still swing by every now and then just to grab a pizza from this place. Insanely good! Great staff. And the fact that you can see directly back into their kitchen speaks volumes-you know it's clean and they practice good food hygiene because you can literally sit there and watch them make your food. A breath of fresh air in today's world! I love that the pizza is exactly the same as it was when I was a kid. The thin crust is legendary, and the sauce is like crack. Monicals has nothing on Del Carmens! I also love that they offer some non-traditional toppings as well, like broccoli and cauliflower. Great for people who don't eat meat. And the prices are low for what you get. Del Carmens is a gem!

Our office ordered 2 pizzas for lunch, meat lovers and bbq chicken. The order was delivered promptly, a punch card and extra coupons accompanied the order. The pizza was hot, fresh and delicious. The delivery driver was pleasant and courteous! We will definitely be ordering lunch again!!Food: 5/5

Not only is the food killer, but the people working there are friendly and helpful. The man at the counter went above and beyond to make sure that not only was our order accurate but that we ended up with the best deal possible for what we wanted. Very glad we stopped in there on our way out of town. Vegetarian options: They offer a vegetarian pizza option

Our previously favorite pizza delivery place let us down, so we tried Del Carmen's and they definitely did NOT disappoint. The pizza was hot, fresh and delivered promptly, the breadsticks were far better than the other place's, and we were very pleased. We'll be back! Vegetarian options: They have them. Dietary restrictions: They are accommodating. Parking: I didn't go in person so I don't know. Kid-friendliness: Kids would probably like that the pizza is cut into squares, easy for small fingers to pick up. Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't go in person so I don't know.
