Delaware Center for Maternal & Fetal Medicine of Christiana Care

This office (billing department) was completely unprofessional in their billing process and customer service. I received an invoice and was told that it needed to be paid by my next visit which was 6 days later. This was not a problem and would have been addressed the on same day that the bill was given if I didn't have to wait for an hour to be seen past my appointment time to be seen. Two days before my appointment I received phone call from the same person (Nic———) in the billing department confirming my appointment and informing me that if I could not pay my invoice then I would need to contact the office to reschedule my appointment until I could pay a bill less than 4 days old. I am going through a high risk pregnancy and that fact that someone thinks it is ok to jeopardize the safety of myself and my unborn child for $168 is mind blowing. For me, paying this invoice and future invoices is not a problem. My heart goes out to other patients of this office and their unborn children who’s health and safety will be compromised if they are unable to pay these minimal balances upon their immediate demand. I am extremely disappointed in the performance and customer service of this office (billing department)and hope that this review offers some insight on the offensiveness of their billing staff and internal collection procedures.
