overall, i have to say i was somewhat disappointed by this experience. the seating was nice, and the menu looked inviting. yet, the calamari was bland and the pasta was cooked incorrectly. i had asked for the meat filling but got the cheese instead. the restaurant also seemed understaffed. it took several tries to get my water refilled. the servers were nice though
Always an incredible time at Delizia. Food is spectacular and service is excellent. The Deliziosa pasta is my go to always. Pair it with some wine and you have yourself an excellent night out. Delizia is a must try!
Delizia 92 is a must visit whenever I am in the mood for super amazing pizza. This place never disappoints. When I had family at a nearby hospital many years ago, Delizia’s food gave me, and my family so much comfort. Major life celebrations, Delizia’s 92 catered our family’s milestones. There were times when I lived in NJ I would drive into the City just to buy pizza from here. Delizia’s 92 is special not only for the awesome food, but the workers are all very nice. Never ever had bad food, or a bad experience. It is such a huge treat, and joy to enjoy amazing food on each visit. If your ever on the Upper Eastside and want good NY style pizza, give Delizia’s 92 a try. My favorite is the Grandma Pizza, or if it’s just for me. I buy several slices of plain pizza. The slices are huge, large selection of various toppings. They sell bottles of wine, coke products, and there is indoor, plus outdoor seating. Parking can be tough, but you can find street parking if you drive around, plenty of garages.
A bit small for $3.25, I guess it's the neighborhood rents. Good coverage of cheese and sauce. Thin, very, very chewy crust. Fair flavoring overall, seems to be a Spanish pizza, couldn't find any Italian flavor at all. My grade is 84.
I have eaten at every pizza place in a 10 block radius of my apartment on the UES yeah, I'm that dude and Delizia is the best of them all. It's not fancy pizza, it would never win any awards, the crust is a little basic, but it is damned good pizza. Outstanding ingredients, cheese that always tastes delectable, a perfect simple sauce, and always nice guys at the place and made on time. Congrats, Delizia, I'm a fan.
Really really disliked the food here. It was recommended but the pasta ala vodka was disgusting, even with loads of parmesan to add some flavor. The pizza was super greasy and soggy and just felt like every bite was sitting in my stomach.
Just stopped in for a quick slice to check the place out. Great slice of pizza with an excellent sauce. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu. Extremely friendly staff as well!Recommended dishesSlice of Pizza, Slice, Regular Plain Pizza
They have gone downhill over the last 5 years and the prices have gone up up up. The slices are so thin you can see thru them. If you buy a chicken dish with soda it’s almost $25. Are you kidding? Chicken and pasta? You prices are insane? A large pie and a soda is almost $30 with a tip. Come on….Wake up
A neighborhood gem. A charming, quiet place with excellent food, great wine, and friendly servers. This place is excellent for both eating-in and takeout. Love it here!Food: 5/5
Just ordered a fresh slice of Sicilian they pulled straight out of the oven. Fresh and cheesy. Great final slice of NY pizza to end our trip.
