Demarco Kenneth M MD

Our Primary Care Physician of many years is closing his non-concierge medical practice and we are all faced with a need to find a new PCP. One of the office I have called and left messages was an office of Dr. Ken DeMarco. He was highly recommended! After I have not heard back, I called again and talked to an office staff member. The first interaction was rather unpleasant and the impression I received was of unfriendly and off-putting service. I was even accused of having called every 15 minutes. I, of course, said I no longer wanted to join the office, but I was very sad about it, because Dr. DeMarco seemed like a perfect fit for my husband, my parents and me. And the more I read and heard about him the more upset and disappointed I was feeling. There was an exchange about physicians on Next Door, because a number of Dr. Estock's patients are looking for a new physician and Dr. DeMarco's name was coming up again and again. After I have shared my unpleasant experience, people were contacting me in the group chat and privately sharing their experience with and knowledge of Dr. DeMarco and the verdict was that he was an amazing physician and I should not let the first impression get in the way if being treated by a knowledgable and thorough family doctor. I was getting more and more upset. Well, what do you know? In the end of the work day, Cathy from Dr. DeMarco's office I did not know her name the first time around called me! She said that we must have gotten disconnected in the morning, but she now had time and wanted to get back to me. She acted like nothing had happened, but that did nor bother me! I was thrilled! No, the did not become warm and fuzzy all of a sudden, but she was professional and polite. She answered my questions and registered my parents, my husband and me with Dr. DeMarco's practice. As much as I hope and pray we do not need his services, I am glad to have Dr. Ken DeMarco as my family's Primary Care Physician. Be well and stay healthy, everybody!
