I went to Denny’s in Vegas mostly because I wanted breakfast and it was well after noon. I wanted an omelette and most places weren’t serving breakfast. This particular restaurant looked inviting and kind of fun. Also, I assumed that Denny’s would not be as expensive as other Vegas restaurants and I was pretty broke by this time as I had already been in Vegas a few days. Well, the restaurant was clean. But there was a wait unfortunately. No biggie. Finally we were seated and I ordered my omelette. It didn’t take too long, but by the time I got it, my food was cold and my toast was dry. I asked for a new omelette and I think they just put it in the microwave and brought it back to me. I’m pretty confident it was the same omelette as it only took about one minute to bring it back. After that, nobody paid me much attention. Not only that, both breakfasts were almost $50. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this Denny’s.
Great choice on the menu for a relaxed breakfast, whether you’re looking for something traditional or more of a healthy option. Photos throughout the menu make it clear what you’re ordering in case there’s any doubt. There’s tables suitable for single dinners right through to larger groups, and everywhere was clean. Orders were taken in good time, the food itself took a little longer to arrive but we were in a group so perhaps explains it. Presentation of the food wasn’t as slick as you’d want and certainly nothing like the photos within the menu, but at least it gave a sense of being home prepared rather than packaged items! The Southwestern Benny Breakfast was tasty with a good level of spice for the morning, without the hollandaise being over powering, and was a great portion size for the price. Staff were quick to keep coffees topped up and the atmosphere was both friendly and relaxing. Unfortunately a few side dishes were forgotten for the rest of the group and one particular dish took a while to arrive, which was a shame because they weren’t overly busy at the time. Toilets were small but clean and payment is made at the desk on your way out. The waiting staff, knowing we were a group, proactively itemised each person which was a nice touch. For a good value filling breakfast it’s certainly somewhere I’d recommend and will be returning myself.
First time visiting. Went on a Friday afternoon a1pm. We were looking for a breakfast restaurant that didn’t cost $30 per plate so we settled for this Denny’s. Nested in the heart of the Las Vegas strip this restaurant was fully packed when we arrived. We were seated about 6mins later. Our server Cherie tried her best & much thanks to her for bringing us everything we needed as soon as she could. Food was just ok it was mediocre at best. I recommend for cheap eats. But I may return.
This is a great option for a budget breakfast that's open 24 hours. Even though it was packed, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Our server Cherie was specially kind and attended all our requests. We would definitely go back.
Guests need to check in with host, but are asked to wait outside. All party members must be present when called. Keep this in mind if it is cold outside. While they were working hard to keep social distancing practices in order in the waiting area, seating was pretty close inside, which is the time when the masks come off. Food was good. I was impressed with the amount of fruit. Usually when fruit is included with a meal, it is a very small amount in a bowl. This was a nice size small plate of banana, grapes, cantaloupe, and apple. Do wish there were more healthy options, but it’s Denny’s. The coffee cup says it all: “It’s Fry O’clock Somewhere.”
Located on the strip by the Hard Rock Cafe and the huge Coca Cola bottle on Las Vegas Blvd & MGM Rd. We stopped here on Friday night expecting a signature Denny's meal. We were told 15 min wait, it was actually 40 mins but we understood as only one side was opened. I ordered a Country Fried Steak which was cold and tasted somewhat old as if it was reheated. The floor, table and seat were sticky...My utensils were also sticky so I asked for plastic utensils but they only had forks. We were never given a refill on our coffee and well that's because our waitress never came back to check on us. Overall, not a fan of this Denny's.
Had never been to a Denny's before so went to this one on our visit to Vegas. Had to wait a while before being allocated a table but wasn't a problem. We all ordered from the list of deals and I had the omelette with ham and cheese and a hash brown. Very nice it was too. Breakfast and coffees for three of us, including a tip, was $38 which seems pretty good for The Strip.
We visited over Christmas and it was fairly empty at 8pm. Service was slow but competent. Annoyingly, they were using the minimal 'holiday menu' which narrows down around 80% of the standard menu. They all had tops advertising coke zero but on requesting, they said they didn't serve it. The food was up to standard and I didn't notice that it was anymore expensive. Parking: Parking will need to be via one of the local MGM casino's and will be charged.
Always love Denny's but the wife and I just walked out of this one right now and it is the worst experience we've ever had. Medium rare Steak was way over cooked and cold by the time it got to me. Then the other 2 plates of foods are burnt. Let's just say everything looks like they were reheated foods from the day before. We didn't say a word. Figured maybe they were too busy to change their frying oils so we ate what was edible and ask for our tab. 10 mins later our waitress walked by and just threw our tab on the table. We still didn't say a word and paid for our foods but I did stood there and waited for every penny back. Will avoid this place at all cost for the remaining time we are here visiting and future visits back here in Vegas.
Cherie did awesome for our table of 4 and a very busy Las Vegas Blvd location. She made breakfast that much better.
