Dental Group Of Ahwatukee

After a recent less than pleasing experience with another dentist, we called Dental Group of Ahwatukee. They were helpful and pleasant on the phone and just as nice in person. The hygienist, dentist, and billing person explained everything clearly, let me see everything they saw. Then they went through the options for treatment. The billing person already knew what our insurance would pay when I arrived. I will return and have the needed treatments done.

As someone who had not been to the dentist in years I was both nervous and embarrassed. After having bad experiences in the past I am blown away by how wonderful the experience has been with Dental Group of Ahwatukee. The Office Leader Loretta Storment made me feel comfortable from the moment I made the appointment. She is genuine and kind and it is a pleasure to see her smiling face every time I have gone into the office. The Dentist David M. Buhrley DMD is both soft spoken and thorough and really took the time to explain what I needed done and why. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have been a patient at the Dental Group of Ahwatukee for 15 years. The office staff has always been professional yet personable. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Burley and his staff to anyone looking for quality, painless dental care.

Dr. Burhley is an excellent dentist. He is honest and always shows me why I need the work done on my teeth. I like it that he takes the time to discuss what needs to be done and often provides a timeline so that I can decide when to schedule the appointment.

Absolutely horrible. Do not trust medical professionals, simply because they are "medical professionals." I should have gotten a second opinion about what they said needed to be done, as there was an alarming amount of work that "needed to be done" despite my having regular check ups with other dentists for decades and never having this many issues. The crown I supposedly needed is right next to a crown that was done the RIGHT way, and it feels like block of wood in my mouth. And they didn't even charge me the right amount, when NOTHING changed in the 4 appointments they made me attend that could have been completed in 2. Don't waste your time, money or teeth with this dentist.

Switch to Atrium Dental before ever trying this place!!! Absolute terrible experience. Have been on time to every scheduled appointment and had to wait a minimum of an hour each visit because the dentist was overbooked. Also, I never imagined that a dentist office would lie to its patients. Had a couple billing questions, the receptionist never responded back as she said she would. The billing manager also said she would send me an explanation of benefits and that never happened. Received a bill with a statement date of 04/26/2015 due date of 05/26/2015 and they sent the bill to collections on 04/30/2015. Will never visit this office again. Have yet to ever visit a dentist office this terrible.

Staff is friendly and nice but I won't recommend this office to anyone. The doctor is trying to just find work to do and charge the insurance. They are still calling me to schedule an appointments for my teeth fillings. He told me I need like 10-11 fillings. after I done half of them I decided to go to another dentist for a 2nd opinion he confirmed I don't need any fillings. I went to a 3rd dentist and he said I don't need any fillings .. don't recommend them

I will no longer be back for ANY future appointments, I am VERY disappointed in the service I received from your office each time I have visited. I was under the impression that you guys offered world class service just to be let down, Not only do I arrive at my scheduled time, but I’m Always made to wait 30+ minutes for my appointments. I came to that office to simply have a crown replaced, and was told I had several cavities that I don’t deny, however upon having the dr work on my tooth to apply a filling, I’ve experienced nonstop pain on my tooth, which never had any issues until he started working on it, I’ve been back several times to have the tooth adjusted, just to go back one more time & be told that I now need a crown on this tooth.. smh, and that u guys would waive only 30% of the cost, when I shouldn’t even be responsible for any of the dental treatment for that tooth as you guys were the ones that started the existing issue with it. I was also lied to about my daughter appointment, I was told to bring her in for an exam by Loretta an I would be able to have her teeth whited, after her appoint I was let down yet again.. smh. I was told after the appointment that she’s too young to have teeth whiting when the office manager knew full well how old my daughter was prior to scheduling her appointment. I will be reporting this office to the better business bureau due to the lack of quality treatment I’ve received from your office.

Do not go to this dentist! All they want to do here is pull everything out and charge up your insurance and are plainly rude. I actually went in because of a mailer they sent offering a free whitening special with exam and turns out that they don't follow through! They refused to give me the whitening and only wanted to keep doing more procedures and I have really nice teeth! Beware of this scam or find out for yourself.

My son and I have been going to Dental Group of Ahwatukee since 2008. We love the new hygienist and all the staff. The Dentist is wonderful and our experience always gets better. Thank you for caring for us.
