I recommend Dr. Robert Weissfeld to everyone I know. Recently I had a total knee replacement. I went to Dr. Weissfeld 2 weeks after my replacement in hopes of regaining a little strength in my new knee. I walked into his office on crutches for support, I walked out able to support myself without any aid. Dr. Weissfeld explained every procedure so I was aware of what was happening and what to expect. Dr. Weissfeld is great at what he does. He releaves pain and stiffness. He helps your body get in touch with the state it was in before any injury.
Dr. Weissfeld is amazing! I was new in town and needed to find a holistic chiropractor. He does things differently than other chiropractors I have gone to. He not only helped with specific issues with my physical body, but also with emotional issues. He has made me feel so much better, mind, body, and spirit that no other chiropractor has done. I am now moving to Fort Collins and will gladly drive an hour to have a session!
For almost a year, I experienced considerable knee pain that disturbed my sleep and limited my range of motion and ability to do my job as a yoga teacher. Many of the basic as well the more challenging asanas I taught became inaccessible. I was told that I needed surgery. I saw Dr. Weissfeld and after the first visit, the pain decreased from an 8 to a 3. After the second visit, my range of motion greatly increased. Dr. Weissfeld's help has been invaluable and I can't recommend him highly enough.
Not sure what part of the word holistic I initially didn't get.. in the past I've always received the 15 minute 'back crack,' some advice on stretching and posture, and I was out the door. I had always been treated by the 'standard' chiropractors. Every session I had with Dr Weissfeld ranged from 45 min to an hour. During these sessions he took care to treat my whole being, as opposed to just focusing on a whiplashed neck from a vehicular accident. My interpretation of his philosophy of care is that one needs to treat the system instead of just the part, and in turn vice versa. Aside from his extensive background, I really did get the sense that Dr. Weissfeld was an expert in his field. Note that this review is coming from someone who has never received holistic care before and is a skeptic in nature. Another thing I appreciated was that I could ask him questions about what specifically he was doing during these sessions... what the significance was, and why, to which he would provide valid explanations for. I found the information he provided pertaining to the brain, muscle, joint links fascinating and on par with various neuroscience studies I had read in the past that focused on the brain-body relationships. After 5-6 sessions I felt recovered from the injury I had received from my car accident and therefore ended my sessions with Dr Weissfeld. However, I can surely bet on more back and neck issues; and I will be calling upon Dr. Weissfeld for treatment.
Once again, Dr Weissfeld has pulled me out of the well of my dark state and brought me back to life. I admit I go to him when I'm out of balance emotionally, as well as physically, because through his work I've learned that the body follows the emotional state, so when the emotional state is balanced, the body follows. It works time after time. I am 61 years young, and on no medication, for anything. I am convinced my state of well being has everything to do with having had Dr Weissfeld's work for the last 30 years. He is nothing short of genius.
Our 15 yr old Daughter has an S curve in her spine, but is still extremely athletic, participating in HS Basketball, Softball and Track. Her Hip Flexors are her worst enemy, making her lower body unstable, but her upper ribs are also affected and the S curve in her spine drives them out of place. Her resulting pain affects both performance and her school work. Dr Weissfeld has been a key component to getting the muscle groups she uses in her sports life as well as the muscles around the affected ribs and hips to do their job and to significantly reduce the constant pain she is in as she goes about her day as well as the added trauma sometimes brought about by her active sports life. We can't thank him enough.
Best holistic doctor in Denver! He has helped with migraines I don't have them anymore, stress, depression, anxiety, and emotional issues. I recommend him all the time. He listens and helps with any problem you have. Don't doubt in seeing him, he's worth it! Thank you Dr. Weissfeld!
Dr. Weissfeld is really a Doc of many trades, and someone I would highly recommend. I have tried a lot of different medical/alternative/holistic therapies before, but there is really nothing like what Dr. Weissfeld does. He uses so many different modalities that it is a little hard to explain what a session is like, so for that I apologize, but this is really an impressive and profound system Dr. Weissfeld has. The modalities, and process he uses can be different for everyone, and for me, it has been a little different each time I go, but always so interesting, and amazing to me. I am seeing him for depression, chronic illness, and ptsd so far, but plan to keep seeing him for some body work using his kenesiology background. I originally found him online by accident, and I was intrigued at what I was reading on his web site. When I realized he was offering a $25 "intro sesssion", I simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to go in and give it a try. I was amazed at what he was able to do with emotional pain in just one session. I have spent hundreds of dollars in therapy dealing with or trying to deal with extremely difficult events and life circumstances, and wasn't really getting anywhere. In fact, I think traditional psychotherapy was actually worsening the problem. It was almost like opening wound after wound, with no way to stop the "bleeding". My depression kept getting worse, and I was getting extremely frustrated, and beyond hopeless. I was in the depths of depair to say the least. So I tried Dr. Weissfeld, and I am so glad I did. Even in that first "intro session" I was impressed at what happened. We started with dealing with a specific emotion I had been having particular difficulty with, and by the end of that session, the emotional pain was drastically diminished. Dr. Weissfeld had mentioned that some of the work he does kind of "erases" emotion from the body. I didn't think he actually meant that. He did! The memories will remain, but it's like the body just learns to STOP experiencing emotional pain over and over which is associated with that memory. One thing I will say, is that if you're considering trying Dr. Weissfeld for emotion/depression/ptsd you do have to be willing to allow your body to experience the pain/frustration/sadness . . . while you are on his table so that he can do what he needs to do to flush it out. So just know to expect that and stay open by knowing that one more tour down memory lane might just end years of suffering. I know that going through it can really suck, especially if you're dealing with things that seem unbearably painful, and things that you just don't even want to bring up even one more time. But remember - this is way better, and easier, and more effective than psychotherapy. Just let it come up. It's better to just get it out, and let the Doc do his thing. I think that what Dr. W. does could literally save people from years of pain. There's an old chinese proverb that I once learned. "Teachers open the door, but you must enter by yourself". Keep that in mind and just go try it out. It's really worth it. and way more fun than psychotherapy!
Don't know what you did, but whatever your approach is...It worked. I classify you as a miracle worker. You have done wonders for my shoulder and the pain associated with it. Bless you Dr Robert
