Went in for an initial outpatient visit to get second opinion for existing orthopedic issue. Spoke to a resident for about three minutes who recommended Celebrex a 25 year old drug with increased stroke & heart attack risk and an MRI to see if I was a candidate for a fusion. I was hoping to get some novel thinking instead of dated last resort recommendations right off the bat. The bill was an eye-popping $661. I did not return as I found much better treatment from Denver Sports Medicine and Spine for a fraction of the cost.
I would absolutely not recommend this practice. From my very first appointment 4+ years ago there have always been issues with scheduling or medical care/advice. The office manager Nikki is very unprofessional, dishonest and unable to resolve simple scheduling issues or take responsibility for their errors. The final straw: they cancelled appointments 3x in a span of a week and an half, either without notice I was already at the office or very last minute 15 minutes before appointment. They were unapologetic. One time they told me there was a building issue and they weren’t taking patients at all but when I got there the waiting room was full of patients waiting to be seen.
Dr Francu is an amazing internist. She leaves no stone unturned. She is caring when she goes over your charts and upcoming appointments. My wife and couldn’t be happier having such a compassionate and knowledgeable internist.
Great experience overall. The receptionist was super polite and thorough on the phone and in person. Dr. Cowley was very personable and made sure I asked any questions I might have in regards to my health. Glad I was able to be seen at such short notice. Y'all are very chill
I haven't even been yet, but I'll be looking elsewhere. Your scheduling person is horrible Mikki? Nikki?. Impolite, sounds like they're working from a bathtub, and she had constant pings, bells, and sounds coming from her computer while we were trying to talk. She never addressed this or apologized for it, even after I brought it up as the reason I had to keep asking her to repeat herself. Humility would do you wonders. The entire experience was very unprofessional and gave me no confidence in receiving any kind of health care here, so I'm going somewhere where your employees can at least talk on the phone.
The provider is good but not the clinic directors the directors discriminate against people who have developmentally disabilities and they make up things that other patients are intimidated by the disability of another patient and I am letting everyone who is developmentally disabled to not go here for care. The doctors there are known for discontinuing all medications that are needed to harm the patients that they no longer treat
Once you find the location, this is a great medical facility: small enough to feel intimate between doctors, staff, and patients, but sufficient to fulfill the needs for primary care. My doctor has always been quick to respond to emails and to give advice and referrals. She is a great listener and takes seriously the responsibility to be my partner in improving my health and well being.
This is an excellent facility in the heart of Cherry Creek with a wide range of physicians. I've been through multiple iterations of the practice over the past twenty years and am extremely satisfied with my current Primary Care Physician, Dr. Matthew DeCamp. Easy parking, great scheduling, but most of all, competent and professional primary care medicine with an excellent support staff. I recommend this practice highly.
I don’t think I’ve ever written a negative review of a health care provider prior to this. I saw Dr. Wilk for approximately two years. Dr. Wilk rushed through nearly every appointment I had with him, was distracted during every appointment and often missed key symptoms while examining me. For example, for over 8 months he insisted that I had stenosis of the spine which was causing severe short fiber neuropathic pain. When I finally got to a neurologist who is fantastic she discovered that my pain had nothing to do with “stenosis” but is the result of an adverse reaction to the Covid 19 vaccine. He missed the fact that I received the vaccine on October 9th, 2021 and came down with the pain on October 10th 2021, and that I had never had short fiber nerve pain prior to that episode. In my last visit with Dr. Wilk he asked me, completely out of the blue, if I had considered using a seasonal affective disorder lamp. I’ve never had SAD, we weren’t discussing depression or SAD, and his interjection was clearly an indication that he wasn’t paying attention to what we were discussing. He also has a snide side to him: When I recently questioned why he wanted to consider putting me on statins despite the fact that my HDL and LDL were in ideal ranges, he suggested that “I should consider moving to a concierge practice”. Unbelievable nerve. I won’t be back.
As a new patient, my admission to CU went smoothly. I felt welcome to the practice. And Dr Schultz is a great listener. His follow up questions and comments were so reassuring. I'm grateful that CU could begin my process as a new Medicare patient.
