My wife and I just bought a brand new 2024 trailer for our family. This is something we have saved up and worked hard for, for years now. When we initially signed the paperwork for the trailer the dealership was prompt and quick. After we signed the paperwork there was a shift in customer service and promptness. It took a week and a half for our trailer to be “inspected” and “cleaned out.” You can imagine our disappointment when we finally got to pick it up and take it home and we noticed everything that was not inspected or cleaned. The screen door doesn’t shut properly, the storage area doesn’t lock or seal, the keys don’t work on one of the doors and it was not cleaned at all. There was gum stuck to the door frame, rocks and dirt in the shower, and dirty fingerprint marks all over. We were told we would do a 40 minute walk through when we picked it up and I would say, the outside walk through of the trailer was sufficient, but we didn’t really get check out the inside which is why we didn’t notice all the dirt. We picked it up on a Saturday and we immediately reached out about the keys. Didn’t really hear anything back. Then on Monday, I decided to call and not only request keys but also share some of the things that we felt should have been done during the week that they had it. The salesperson I spoke with, cut me off in the middle of my list of things and asked, “can I talk, can I talk??” He was not the salesperson we’d been working with. Then I explained that I wanted to express my concerns and he very sarcastically responded and said “so I’m just a shoulder for you to cry on? Got it.” When I reached out to our original salesman to share this conversation and share my, I feel like understandable frustration, I was told there would be a meeting between the owner, myself and our salesman. It’s been 4 days and we were told yesterday that the owner thinks I’m lying and won’t meet with me. We haven’t even taken it out camping so I’m really worried about what else we will find once we do. What was supposed to be an exciting time for our family, has now turned into a very stressful situation. Thanks Dependable. It just shows their true character that they’re helpful and attentive until you sign the paperwork and then they don't care about you in the slightest. Don’t give them your business. Don’t let them have a dime of your money I promise you’ll regret it. EDIT: We were told it was de-winterized and upon further investigation of the unit, it was not. The pink fluid you use to winterize units like this, was flowing strong through all water outlets for a good couple minutes. There was no cap on the drain hose underneath the fresh water tank either so I had to run to a hardware store for one. Buyers beware. This is brand new to us and we are nervous to see what else we find when we do go camping.
I highly recommend Dependable. They were amazing with helping me get a vehicle. I worked with Kenny and he was absolutely incredible. He made sure he walked me through the process step by step and even let me drive the vehicle home before the bank finalized the loan so that I had reliable transportation. I have never had anyone, especially a car company, go above and beyond for me the way Kenny and dependable did. I cannot recommend them enough and will not be using anyone else for my car buying or mechanic needs! Thank you so much for your amazing, kind, and over the top help Kenny! Y’all are all amazing!
I had a great experience with Dependable and salesman Lee. I traded in my suv for another vehicle and the whole process was without pressure or sales tactics. I would definitely recommend them as a place to go for a used car or truck!
Recommend salesman, David. He was very helpful throughout the whole process. I knew exactly what I wanted when I came in. After test driving, I was sold on it. He was very knowledgeable and made getting my truck quick and easy. His communication & genuine care for his customers is top tier. If you come here, ask for David!
I just wanted to share our experience with Dependable Used Cars. We purchased a vehicle from them in Nov 2023, that evening the check engine light came on and started flashing. We brought the vehicle back the very next workday. Within a day their service manager called and said the issue was fixed and it was ready to be picked up. The issue was not fixed, the engine light started flashing and the vehicle was stalling again that same day. I brought the vehicle back a second time, the next day was told it was fixed and we can pick it up. Well the check engine light was flashing and the car was stalling by that evening. When we brought the vehicle back a third time they kept the vehicle nearly 3 weeks then told us that they are not able to fix the vehicle and don’t know why the check engine light is flashing, and it pick it up. To add to the frustration, we paid for the extended warranty and the warranty company still has not received the payment and it’s been well over a month.
Worked with Lee and bought a truck, he was super patient and easy to work with. The truck however has cost me ~$1800 in repairs since I purchased less than 5 months ago have driven less than 700 miles. Cracked crankshaft seal from before I purchased, leaking power steering fluid, leaking trans lines and under the bumper cover the bumper was actually in two pieces before I repaired it. Oh yeah and my mechanic let me know my alternator should be replaced sooner than later. Doesn’t seem as if the vehicles are being thoroughly inspected. So def get a thorough 3rd party inspection. My mistake not doing so.
I bought a 2006 F150 from them 4 Days ago. The day after I bought it the check engine light came on along with a squealing noise that just kept getting worse. I took it to the shop today and it's leaking from the rear differential, parking brake pads are crumbled to pieces, this is where the squealing was coming from and it needs a new fuel pump driver module. I shouldn't have to spend another 1,000 dollars on repairs like this right after buying a truck. Dependable used cars? I don't think so.
Kenny was my auto salesperson at Dependable Auto Sales in Anchorage, AK. and exemplified professionalism on a new level and made buying a car a genuinely good experience. I would highly recommend their service to anyone in need of a reliable vehicle, with reasonable prices, and excellent customer care.
I worked with Kenny to purchase a truck, he was very professional and straight forward. He did a wonderful job working with me to secure the vehicle even though I was stationed outside of the country and several timezones off. He even let me take the truck home before the bank could finish processing the payment. I highly recommend working with Kenny and Dependable.
Quick and easy to work with, very pleased with customer service I received from Lee.
